Liked: Property was easy to find and in a good location. Lots of supermarkets nearby, easy access to the Palace area and 15 mins to a swimming spot. Staff were friendly and helpful. We had a room that was separate from the main building but were still able to access the main building for internet and roof terrace. Our room was really big with 2 single beds and a double, a kitchen (with large fridge), a little porch area and nice bathroom. The roof terrace had people on it most of the time doing everything from smoking and drinking to hanging up washing. All the guests we spoke to seemed happy with their rooms too. Wish we could've stayed longer!

Disliked: Our room was amazing but could seriously benefit from some sort of cooling system for night. We had all the doors and windows open but still had to occasionally get up and apply cold water to cool us down in the night. Some other guests said that Manuela asked them if they would mind sharing a room even though they had paid the deposit for a private 3 bed. They didn't mind this, but were told that they owed the same amount of money for the shared room as they had said they 'didn't mind', even though the shared room should've been cheaper.

Liked: Loved the roof top area! A great way to meet other people travelling. Free internet access was great and the connection was fast. Also offer a laundry service. Loved it here.

Disliked: The main kitchen was pretty small.

Disliked: Our room was in a separate building from the main part and we don't even know if there is a common area other then a tiny kitchen with computer. We bumped into another traveler who said there was a terrace but that was news to us.

Liked: This hostel was a nice place to stay, clean, easy walk to the restaurants, bars, shops and also the ferry terminal. I was there for just one night, but I could have comfortably stayed for longer.

Liked: I didnt stay in the hostel but in the apartment and i was only there for a couple hours. But it was nice and the owner was very friendly!

Liked: Loved the social aspect of this hostel, it was a blast!

Disliked: The rooms were very cramped and there was no lockers in the room.

Liked: I loved this place. Just needed to chill out for a few days before doing Sail Croatia. Perfect for what I needed. Highly recommend it.

Liked: Manuella is so friendly and lovely. Hostel Manuella was so convienient for us. We stayed one night before our sail cruise in a 7dorm share and everyone was so respectful while others slept. Then we decided to stay another night in Split so we booked again at Hostel Manuella, and Manuella up graded us, which was lovely of her.

Disliked: I didnt dislike anything really. Its a great place to stay if your just after a bed. Its not a hostel where you sit up all night and chat with everyone really. Its a place to crash and they make you very welcome

Disliked: Too crowded in the bedrooms - quite simply just not enough space in the bedrooms which not only meant complete lack of privacy, but also meant it got far too hot at night. Only one bathroom for the whole hostel was a nightmare. Very noisey

Liked: Great location near the main promenade.

Disliked: Was placed in somebody's bedroom across the road instead of the main hostel (without a discount) so it was harder to meet people and there were no facilities or kitchen or anything. The spare key to our room was hanging out the front, not exactly secure.

Liked: Owners are absolutely great people!! Hostel is well-located in the old town of Split. There is a kitchen, a terasse on the rooftop and a clean bathroom. All you need at a fair price and with great people.

Liked: Manuela was incredibly helpful, and air con in the main rooms. The hostel is close to the centre and waterfront, in the old town, and it has a nice atmosphere

Liked: The staff here are so lovely and welcoming. The location is really central and the hostel is clean. Although it´s not a normal hostel set-up, I would highly recommend it as a place to crash and recuperate. It is a secure environment and the town centre is a short walk away.

Liked: When we arrived at the hostel noone was there for 2-3 hours, we had to wait outside until a helpful lady who knew the owner called her. The first night we were eaten alive with bedbugs....literally, we had hundreds off bites. We had to stay there the next night as we couldnt find anywhere else. Although we moved beds, we still got bitten. The owner knocked off a 6th of the price, i didnt think we should have had to have paid in the first place. So if you want to get attacked by millions of bedbugs, stay here.
