Liked: Fantastic location, a stone's throw away from the harbour and Diocletian's palace. Also friendly landlady. Very clean room.

Disliked: Landlady only spoke Czech and German and it was difficult to find out good places to visit in Split from the hostel owner since we did not speak either languages. Also shared bathroom with entire household.

Liked: Very clean, good air conditioning

Disliked: Strange ornaments - i.e. weird teddy bears, china dolls, religious pictures. Didn't like that the shared bathroom was down the stairs - ok if you are just staying one night like we were but would not be good if you were staying for more. Also strange sulphurous smell on that side of the harbour - probably coming from a nearby factory or something...

Liked: Ana was a lovely host and her house is very clean. We had an air-conditioned room with a nice window view. It is in a great location for exploring the old city. Would definitely recommend it!

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: Nothing. Our mood was ruined by the horrible accommodation condition.

Disliked: Seriously, this experience was a nightmare, if not a thril movie. We were in a small house of 3 rooms. Each room accommodated 2 people. At the same time the owner stayed in the kitchen. 7 people had to share the only toilet/bathroom. I waited patiently for my turn to take shower and when I finally finished shortly after midnight, I found the owner sitting outside the bathroom with a hostile stare. She really scared me. She checked bathroom each time someone used it. More than that, she put every one under her check if the door was properly shut and always locked, if we wore shoes in her room. She repeatedly required us to follow her "rules of the house." One of our fellow travellor failed to shut the door properly, which triggered her nerve and her shouting on the whole goup. It was a very stressful stay.

Liked: Ana is really helpful. We decided to stay one more night in Split and she called her neighboors to fins us a place cause she was full. Shes not really speaking english mais her son yes and hes almost always there. The room is Nice and clean.

Disliked: Nothing

Liked: Good location, but no free parking if you come with a car. We found one ~ 1 km away next to marina. The owner doesn't speak English, but I think her German is ok (mine is not :). Clean, cozy room, but please note it's just a few meters from the church, and you will hear bells ringing every hour.

Liked: The location is good, It is quite and clean and secure but the owner only speaks German. It is difficult to find with no sign outside. It is in her house and the rooms qre quite small. The double room has a balcony but no TV and the twin room has a TV but no balcony. The rooms are decorated with religious pictures and lots of lace doileys. You can use her laptop for internet in her living room.

Disliked: If you are arriving in the daytime you should be able to pick up a cheaper room in the old town from the touts at the bus station or tourist office.

Liked: Close to Riva. Air Conditioning.

Disliked: Feel like you are staying in a random bedroom with the family crystal. Low hanging light fitting which was easy to walk in to. Staff were friendly but not flexible eg. washing machine could it be used, no able to hang out on balcony etc.

Liked: The best B&B that I've ever stay. Maravilloso el trato. Ana es una mujer muy muy agradable, con un baño muy muy limpio y las habitaciones impecables. No habla inglés, solamente alemán o croata, pero te entiendes perfectamente con ella. Excepcionalmente situado, junto a una lavandería, y muy muy muy limpio. Lo recomiendo con creces.

Disliked: Jorge left no negative feedback.

Liked: I liked the location, right in the centre and the fact that the room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. We were lucky to get the one with a balcony as well. Ana was very helpful, although there was a communication barrier.

Disliked: I did not appreciate that there was only one bathroom to share between the owner and 6 lodgers. Again, this is something we knew about from the minute we booked and we were lucky that not all 3 rooms were occupied during our stay. The other things missing was Ana speaking English and a tv in the room, as well as a kettle with some mugs. Although, when asked Ana was very helpful and offered some cold water to drink and also a cup of tea.

Liked: great location with nice surroundings, restaurants and local bars. close to the harbour and a really nice owner..

Disliked: the bathroom is situated downstairs so if privacy is important to you that could be an issue..
