Liked: great location right by the old city walls. nice communal area in the hostel.

Disliked: they placed me in a separate flat across the road from the actual hostel, so initilly i was not very happy to be seperated from the other guests i.e not as sociable. however i got to use the hostels facilities, so i hung out there and still met people. pluss i got my own room with a big bed rather than a dorm. however a mirror in thr oom would have been handy. also i thought there should have been some cooking facilities/kitchen in the hostel. or even just a ketel to make hot drinks!

Liked: The staff were friendly and helpful.

Disliked: we had bed bugs so they switched us to another room but they were everywhere. Apart from this, the hostel is a really good place to stay.

Liked: everything, LOCATION IS AMAZING! the people were great. really sociable, bar crawl was wicked.

Liked: Location was brilliant and we had our own Private room which was in a separate building - which was bigger than any hotel room that we've stayed in!

Disliked: My only complaint is insignificant - we didn't have a mirror in our room so getting ready for a night out was difficult when sharing the bathroom between 7.

Liked: Free wifi, free Internet, movies, pretty rooms, and air conditioning. It was fantastic.

Liked: We stayed in the double, which is in a separate building, so much quieter and lots of space.

Disliked: Nothing

Liked: good location. If you are looking for a freshman dorm kind of experience, this is the place. Beds were comfortable. folks were friendly.

Disliked: The common room smelled and was pretty messy at times (empty beer bottles, etc). Only one shower for each sex & 2 toilets.

Liked: Awesome hostel - such a great location and the facilites were so good! I really enjoyed my stay - comfortable beds, free wifi and a chilled common room. I would definitely stay again.

Disliked: Liked everything.

Liked: Only the TV and the location of the hostel.

Disliked: There is no blanket provided and the room can get cold without heating. There are many beds in a room and the hostel guests are mainly teenagers who slept really late at night and pretty noisy. Not a good place for a rest.

Liked: Location was perfect! It was cheap enough and I had my own room (nobody booked the other bed in late September). Free internet was cool.

Disliked: The apartment was on the third floor with stairs. The toilet smelled terrible. My bedroom was really cold in the late September, I needed two blankets to survive the nights.

Liked: Great location and atmosphere. Clean and comfortable.

Disliked: Although the hostel itself is quiet, outside your window is bright and noisy all night long. Make sure you bring earplugs.

Liked: Brilliant location, about 2 minutes from the port and bus station! The staff and people we met there were awesome. Recommended an amazing pizza restaurant which was cheeeeap too.

Liked: The relaxed and friendly atmosphere, air conditioning, very good location in relation to shops, ferry and bus stations and information offices etc. great for young travellers.

Disliked: Only the stairs...could do with a cooking facility.

Liked: Location is very good

Disliked: Only one shower. No full kitchen. Very small meeting room. No luggage safe luggage storage. Expensive, not good value for money. Poor management. Would not recommend 6 bed dorms.

Liked: The hostel is located in the heart of the city center and close to the beach.

Disliked: Bring EARPLUGS! In order to get in to one of the rooms with 6 beds, you have to go trough another bedroom with 6 beds. So if you're sleeping in the latter, you better stay out late partying, unless you want to be woken up every half hour. Of course, in this case it is very likely that some early birds will wake you. Fun location, just too much noice!

Liked: Good location, free internet.

Disliked: Very disorganised in terms of allocating beds to guests. They booked 7 people into a 6 bed dorm, and I only noticed this as all the beds looked used. It took a lot of convincing the staff that this error had occurred; even though they admitted they had been having problems with bookings. Was given a bed in a new dorm room at 11pm, which was satisfactory, was just relieved nobody woke me after midnight saying I was in their bed..which is what would have happened if I had not badgered staff about the overbooking in the first room. Not a good hostelling experience! Fort he amount of people who stay in the hostel, one bathroom.shower is definitely inadequate, plus the common room was often crowded with people waiting to check in. Overall, this is a good location and somewhere you could stay if all you need is a bed for the night - but just ensure noone else is also booked into your bed! Value for money is quite poor; I would not pay more than ten euros for this quality of accomodation.
