Liked: The staff (both the owner/manager and the cleaning lady) were amazing! Such a gorgeous little hotel, great value for money. Internet and kitchen facilities were also great.

Disliked: Nothing!

Liked: Villa Stone is in a good location just a short stroll from the old town. The room was spacious and the shower was nice and hot.

Disliked: It was the most expensive place we stayed in Croatia and I dont think the quality or service was as good. In saying this it seemed to be the best option in Split and was still very comfortable.

Liked: We stayed in the top room which had angled ceilings which unless you are quite tall isn't an issue. Room was very clean, spacious, plenty clean towels, ac worked great! Great location! Would definable say here again.

Disliked: 4 different keys for each door was a bit of a pain & shower ceiling was low but the pro's of this place definitely outweigh the 2 negatives and I'm fussy!

Liked: We had the room with the balcony, which is just great. Very nice and very clean room, plus there was an espresso machine in the kitchen for free use. We also liked the location, very close to the old town. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: Our hostess Ana was amazing. She gave us the best room with the balcony that had the most stunning bougainvillea draped over it keeping it cool and shady during the extreme heat of Split. The location is brilliant - couldn't be more convenient and easy to get to the Old Town and shops and water (Old Town really comes alive at night). Everything was simply perfect. The room was really big and spacious and the facilities were all modern, clean and well looked after. Even the cleaning lady was a delight. We loved Split by night and went to Brac island and then to Bol beach which were both highlights of our trip to Croatia. But the flat was seriously gorgeous and we will be back! Thanks Ana for a great stay :) your kindness will never be forgotten Lili and Dave

Liked: Friendy & helpful staff. Great location with a lovely room. absolutely spotless. More of a apartment than a hostel, recommend!

Liked: We had the room with a balcony, which was great. The woman who owns the villa was very helpful.

Disliked: There is no parking. At all. We found this out the hard way when we had to find out of the way parking, but our host was most grateful and really helped us out.

Liked: Location was central and located near parking, grocery store and bakery. Place was well kept and service was very friendly and helpful. Would recommend to anyone travelling through split.

Liked: The room was newly renovated and had a beautiful balcony.

Disliked: It was leaking into the kitchen and therefore there was mould on the kitchen ceiling.

Liked: One of our favorite places in our trip! Newly renovated bathrooms, and the location is just a few meters outside the old town. We were lucky to get the room with the terrace. Thanks for having us stay, we loved Villa Stone Flower. Wish were stayed longer.

Liked: Very clean, friendly hostess, ample towels provided, air conditiong, great location (very close to everything within walking distance but far enough from the crowds and bustle to be quiet at night), updated and clean decor.

Disliked: Nothing that I disliked, other than I would just be aware that if you are staying on the top floor (just under the roof) it is a cathedral ceiling and i hit my head numerous times on the roof and if you are taller than 5'4" you'll be to hunch over to take a shower. Otherwise, a great place and I highly recommend this place in general.

Liked: Great location just outside the old city and lovely private courtyard, very peaceful and tranquil. It was very clean and well kept. Ana was very helpful and the only person who contacted me ahead of time and gave me directions.

Disliked: The decor was a little over the top with everything peach colored, walls drapes, candles. I guess not such big deal. My only main complaint was the peach plugin airfreshener and peach potpourri which was overpowering, fine after I hunted them out and took them outside. Aside from that the air conditioner smelled like pee.

Liked: Beautiful house - we had a huge room with a lovely en-suite bathroom. There were no clashes over use of the kitchen and garden. It far exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect for exploring Split. Great for a family group like ours.

Disliked: Nothing - we were surprised at how lovely the place was.

Liked: Booked a 4 person room, which for the money was great value! One double bed and two single beds, with private bathroom. Was a short walk to the main area of Split, very clean and the villa itself is lovely, lots of character with the stone foundations. Would stay here again.

Disliked: Nothing!

Liked: Very big rooms, recently updated, great location. It is a bargain!!

Disliked: you need to leave by 10am and there are not suitcase lockers. Anyway, you can use the ones located in the train station located 10m away walking distance

Liked: The Villa was really close to everything in Spit. In one direction was the main sea promenade and in the other was Diocletian's Palace. The place was close to an ATM, supermarket, bakery, all that you would need. We actually extended our stay one night we liked it so much. Our room was a nice loft for four with a view of the street and park. You could eat your dinner at the little tables by the garden. My one word of advice for any travel in Europe by car is get a GPS!

Disliked: There wasn't reserved car parking, but we managed to find a spot.

Liked: Location, very central with walking access to all facilities

Disliked: Some small maienance issues such as light bulbs sink plugs but not suficient to be anything other than minor irritations

Liked: the heating does not work very well - which will not bother you when you stay there in the summer. Apart from that it is an awesome place! You can have breakfast in the garden... :)
