Liked: Bright and Clean apartment located in quiet neighbourhood 10 min walk to palace. Supermarket close. Great range of Sat tv channels including lots of English ones.

Disliked: kitchen missing a few things i.e plug, frying pan only very basic items but enough to get by.

Liked: EVERTHING! This was without doubt the BEST place that we stayed throughout our entire stay. The villa that we stayed in was absolutely perfect, we couldn't have wished for anything better, such a pleasure to stay here. We couldn't have felt more welcomed by the two property owners, they were so kind and friendly.

Disliked: Nothing, everything was PERFECT!

Liked: Great location 200m from the palace, beautiful purple-accented loft apartment with TWO bathrooms and kitchen. Elena was extremely friendly and helpful (once we tracked her down). Best sobe yet.

Disliked: We got in late (9:00pm) and no one was there, but I called Elena and she rode up on her bike in 5 minutes. Also, the email from Hostelbookers, and the map on the hostelbookers site, said that the address was on Kamenita st., but aparently that's their office, and the room itself was on Tararina, which is actually closer to the palace, but on the other side of town.

Liked: This place was fantastic, we had our own apartment, with kitchin facilities. It was also air-conditioned which was great for the time of year we were there. The family who owned the place were really helpful and accomodating. We loved this place!

Liked: The apartment was roomy, and the bed was very confortable.

Disliked: It was a bit far away from the centre of Split.

Liked: Charming compact apartment only 5 minutes walk from the old town centre - great location. Agent very helpful on arrival and after.

Liked: It was nice to stay here because it was up the side streets in residential areas of split (but only a 10min walk to the centre, with the palace etc). It was very cute from the outside and clean inside with basic studio facilities. It gives you a taste of local life walking through the streets and it feels very safe. The girl who manages the property Mateja was lovely.

Disliked: There was no internet, although Mateja said they were getting it next week so that wont be an issue in the future. It's not a place to meet people as it's very self contained so if you like privacy and peace it's good for that. If you have come from the islands you may be disappointed with Split as it's a big city and the beaches and water are nowhere near as nice so one night might be enough for you to see the Palace and experience the nightlife with the restaurants etc. We stayed two nights and it felt a bit much. Just a tip - there are heaps of shops which is nice in the palace etc, but pretty much all of them are shut on a sunday, so it's not a good day to visit.

Liked: everything brand new , everything as described very modern property very nice &lovely owner Ms Violet (in the first morning she brought us cakes like strudel for breakfast ,mm yummy! and put coffees &bars & little cookies in the kitchen :) )thanks again :)

Liked: A great place to stay. The owner was really helpful, friendly and spoke excellent English. The flat was in a lovely old building but had been completely renovated inside keeping the character though and had everything you'd need in there. Only 5 mins walk from the main bit of the town as well. Would recommend this place to anyone.
