Liked: We had a marvellous stay and the Landlord was so hospitable and helpful and infact we loved our little studio so much we decided to stay in Split longer after exploring the islands. The property was bang smack in the middle of the hustle and bustle of this beautiful and ancient city with the fish market, flower and veg market just a few minutes walk away. The beach was nearby and exploring the Dioclesian Palace was amazing. The studio was a little gem tucked away and private, and to sum it all up our stay was perfect!

Disliked: We loved everything about Adamova 5 Split.

Liked: Everything was great. The guy that owns it was very friendly and charming. What we where not aware of was that it was a private apartment, and not a hostel, but we preferred this. To wake each morning with a view of a cafe where the locals would meet right in the centre of the old town was exquisite. Had a nice bathroom and small kitchenette... We had friends also staying in Split and this room was the envy of them all..

Disliked: the stove top took along time to work. The entry is daunting, and the room had a number of ambi-pur smelly things.. This is nothing to complain about, simply things to be aware of.

Liked: The location was great. Zvone very friendly. The room was spacious and the air-conditioning was working well.

Disliked: The entrance in the back alley behind the restaurant was a little scary, as were the stairs going up to the room. The toilet and shower were a joke.

Liked: Friendly host and were very helpful in giving us directions and local knowledge. I would recommend this accommodation because of the superb location

Disliked: electric light in the room can be improved but for the rest nice, cozy and very private

Liked: The location and character of the place are spot-on. It's in the thick of things, right above a busy hub within the palace walls. The restaurant, Poseidon, which is right below the place is excellent as well...nice to have it so close.

Disliked: It's part of the character, really, but the front door seems pretty flimsy. It's old and has charm, but security-wise, seemed questionable. Wouldn't stop me from staying here if I'm back in Split, though!

Liked: Location is perfect, inside the Dioclesian Palace!! Room is very nice and romantic, and very well decorated.

Disliked: The entrance of the building is scary and also the stairs seem not safe as they are very old, we believe they should do a restauration to improve the image of the accomodation. Bathroom smelt as humidity and there was no space between the shower and the wc.

Liked: The location was great, right in the old parts of town. Very nicely furnished room, big TV, beautiful stone wall.

Disliked: Bathroom mats were not clean, shower lacked a shelf to put bottles on, it did not feel completely safe since the door seems easy to break into.

Liked: Fantastic location, couldn't be closer to the palace, old town, cafes, shops, bus station and ferries. It was a great base for exploring the islands and the town. Window seat was brilliant for watching the world go by. Kitchen facilities were more than adequate, we managed to cook a meal with no trouble. The double glazing blocked out all noise except the big clock which chimes every hour...didn't bother us but for light sleepers you may want to think about earplugs! massive comfy bed. Zvone was really helpful, he recommended some good restaurants, things to do and gave us directions to ferries, and buses. AIR CONDITIONING was a life-saver!!

Disliked: The stairs were pretty rickety but that's simply because the building is so old.

Liked: Location!!!!!! It is inside the palace so has and awesome atmosphere!!! Is close to everything!!!! Great home base for exploring around split!!!!!!! Host was good - came and met us so we didn't get lost.

Liked: Great atmosphere. Right in the center of the palace. Owner was extremely helpful. He was there to meet us at our early morning arrival time. Apartment has everything. We strongly recommend this place.

Liked: So much character and the lovely window where you can look down to the square below. The owner was very friendly.

Liked: Great little apartment in the centre of Split. The apartment was nicely decorated and had everything we needed for a short stay. The owner was there to greet us when we arrived and provided us with information and a useful map. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Split.

Disliked: I wasn't very keen on the shower. It had poor water pressure and there was nowhere to put your soap or shower gel for easy reach whilst showering.

Liked: This is a fabulously located apartment, really spacious over looking a buzzing restaurant with friendly staff. Cost 300 kuna by taxi from the airport but if you call ahead someone will come & meet you helpfully carry your suitcase up the stairs! We had a fantastic stay in Split & would most definitely stay here again, thank you!

Liked: Great location just inside the Gate. We let the property owner know what train we were catching and he was at the entrance to greet us. Very helpful; flat had tea and coffee available for use. It is a bit "funky", but spacious and bright. Not really quiet but the location more than makes up for it.

Disliked: It is an old building; the stair is rickety and you are climbing up a few flights. Not an issue for us.

Disliked: at the given adress you only find a restaurant. You have to ask there, they call the owner and he comes... a little complicatet if you don´t know... at least a sign at the door would be nice

Liked: The property being part of the castle walls, it is the closest you will ever get to the palace! Clean and spacious, with tasteful decor. Very conveniently located and Zvone was very helpful in pointing out alot of eateries, supermarkets and places of interest in the area as well as information on getting around.

Disliked: the shower's a bit small....

Liked: Great location, just inside the Iron Gate of the Diocletian Palace. Central and easy to get everywhere - sites, restaurants, ferry port, beaches - 10 mins max. Very clean and tidy, and well kitted out with a small kitchenette, shower and toilet, fridge, and very comfy queen size bed. A great bohemian apartment on the second floor of an old build. Can look down onto busy path from window seat and watch passers-by or read a book.

Disliked: If you're a light sleeper the donging clock on the hour and half might do your head in. We quite liked it. Added character to the apartment and place in general. And of course you can always shut the double-glazed window and put on the air-con!!

Liked: The location is perfect, right by the west gate of the Diokletian Palace. From the 2nd floor, you can look down on the street and see the tourists and locals walking by and taking pictures. On a sunday, you may even enjoy a free Klapa concert. Despite its central location, it's fairly quiet at night. The owner is very nice and helpful. The room is very nicely decorated and has a TV and well equipped kitchen.

Disliked: The shower could have been a little cleaner. Otherwise, everything was clean.
