Liked: Great host - cute little place within walking distance to most things you want to see in Split.

Liked: Central location. welcoming cake was the best!

Disliked: Noisy as common area right outside bedroom window. Could be awake from 6am with ppl chatting. Poor fan in 37degrees heat! We were initially given the wrong bedroom.. our bedroom was cleaned in a couple of mins! Got bitten alive ?bed bugs or mosquitos! The showerroom was very small and dirty. Narrow door opening into shower. We were not offered the travelcards which were free if you were staying longer than 3 days. We only realised we were entitled to these on reviewing the accomo,

Liked: I Liked the kitchen area/outdoor with a lot of shade so you could hang out on a hot summer day. Staff was nice and had good humour.

Disliked: Our room was a double-bed with shared bathroom. The room was extremly small and not very nice/ just a tiny little window and no air conditioning. The shared bathroom was not very clean. We had a look in a three-bed-room with private bathroom. It looked much better.

Liked: Central location. Common area with tables, kitchen, and computer was fairly nice.

Disliked: The hostel was not prepared at all for hot weather. Despite the 35 degree (Celsius) weather, our room had a poorly functioning fan, and the second night I stayed, there was no fan at all. Cleanliness was not the best, and although the staff seemed friendly, they gave the impression they were also slightly incompetent. Security was also lax. I was given the wrong passport at one point and another guest's passport was left on a table in a public area for almost an hour. Luggage storage was simply putting luggage in an open courtyard for the whole day. I'd encourage travelers to definitely visit Split but look for another hostel.

Liked: Location is perfect and quiet. Terrace inside is cool.

Disliked: There isn't a really parking. You just can park near the property in Plinarska st where you don't have to pay.

Liked: the location was good, beds were comfortable. Great access to shops

Disliked: the kitchen was a mess and looked like the fridge had not been emptied for months. The bathroom had a mouldy smell and the staff were not always easy to find. Furthermore no tea, coffee or cake on arrival as promised

Liked: Great location with easy access to sightseeing and bars / restaurants. Room and attached bathroom were clean. A decent place to stay but it feels like somewhere living a bit on its past good reputation where the effort has fallen off a bit.

Disliked: Room (first floor triple) and bathroom had no windows so only ventilation came from leaving door open. Very small kitchen area which was not well-kept, somewhat fault of other guest but also overflowing trash from Saturday night was not cleared away until Monday morning. Not unfriendly owners but didn't receive any of the welcome / friendliness that others and property description mention.

Liked: Nice quiet location

Disliked: When we arrived noone greeted us and we sat in the courtyard until the owner woke up which was fine, however when he arrived he said he actually didnt have the keys to our room but told us to leave our bags and come back. I presumed that we would be shown somewhere secure to leave our luggage but we were just told to leave it in the courtyard in plain view of the street. We were put into a tiny basement room, with amusingly vile decoration and very little natural little. We also could not work the shared shower.

Liked: Apartments Nikolla had a nice common area/patio that was very conducive to meeting people.

Disliked: We were not offered welcome cake, coffee, tea, or free drinks at local bars as advertised on the Hostelbookers website. There was no toilet paper in our bathroom at any point. The family who operates this establishment was rarely around, which made it difficult for us to ask questions related to sightseeing or request basic amenities (most notably, toilet paper).

Liked: The staff were very friendly and helpful. They provide us a parking place by moving their car. You will enjoy going around city on foot from the apartment. we reaally enjoyed our stay.

Disliked: Its not very ez to find, especially if u arrived after dark. The place is also very very quiet. Kitchen is not heated, so it was really cold. Computer and internet not functioning.

Liked: Was clean good cooking facilities gave a true feel for the culture and location was great just a couple of minutes by foot to the water lots of good food and shopping only a couple of blocks away

Disliked: Private rooms were not part of main hostel, so had to walk to hostel for kitchen.
