Liked: very good location in the Palace

Disliked: there was no real socail atmosphere as there isnt a proper common room. And it is also very small

Disliked: Hostel had bit of a tired feel to it. Lacking in atmosphere.

Liked: Very clean and tidy, with a good shower room.

Disliked: Only one communal area, and the terrace had a 10pm curfew which meant you couldn't really hang around the hostel meeting people there.

Liked: Staff was very friendly and helpful in pointing out good places to eat and best ways to get to Hvar and Brac Islands. Also let us know what should be on our "must see" list while in Split.

Disliked: It is a little dark going to the hostel at night and there is no kitchen area.

Liked: Excellent location - very central and close to lots of the attractions

Liked: The terrace - easy to make friends, location 20m from most things, Matilda the kitten we brought back to the hostel to become the pet, the staff always up for fun! And the people it attracts - ended up traveling on with four of them :)

Disliked: The air con didn't work one night and the shower was broken, but made it mire fun in the end- didn't get much sleep any nights but was loads of fun and have many laughs

Liked: Les gens sont tous vraiment sympathique. La place idéale pour rencontrer des gens. La terrasse dehors est toujours remplis de monde le soir, et ensuite tout le monde va prendre un verre dans un bar ensemble. Hostel idéal pour faire le party.

Disliked: Si vous voulez bien dormir, n'allez pas à cet hostel.

Liked: Awesome staff, very welcoming and fun! Also, great location in the heart of the old town and fun little courtyard patio.

Disliked: There was no common room, but the outdoor patio was pretty much just that.

Liked: Great staff. Really helpful. Great location.

Liked: The staff were quite friendly and helpful.

Disliked: The people staying here seemed to be majority 'party type' travellers. The design and layout was not conducive to hanging out with other travellers. The outdoor area had to be quiet after 10pm due to neighbours wanting some quiet time.

Liked: Great location. In the old city and close to bus station and ferry.

Disliked: A bit expensive for the facility. It would be better if there were a kitchen. It was noisy from guests on the terrace. The bathroom could not be locked. This is a problem especially when the dorm is mixed.

Liked: Also receptionists were only there in the morning to mid afternoon to answer questions or help, so if you had any queries after say 4pm good luck

Liked: Brilliant service, great people. Lovely terrace to meet other travellers and the saff were really helpful in recommending bars and places to eat. I met so many new freinds here and would tell anyone visting Split to say here!!!!
