Liked: THE SHOWERS!!!!also the way the taxi was organised to get to the airport, brilliant!, made our lives so so so much easier! being so close to the centre of things made things easier when going out in the evening, we didnt have to worry about busses or anything.

Liked: It's central location, very helpful and nice staff who speak good english. The shower and bath room are nice too, except if somebody accidently switches off the warm water heater that has the switch right next to the light switch (common arrangement in Croatia)! Not for those who seek quitness, though, there's partys at the hostel and noisy Splitians walking by the street under your window every night of the week. After midnight it's more quiet. Things not-so-good: Facilities: There are no kitchen or laundry facilities at the hostel. Finding the hostel: It's not on the actual Narodni square but at a side alley leaving from the square. Security: Even though there are locks on the room doors, nobody locks them and even though they give you a code for the street door, it's wide open at least until midnight. Therefore virtually anybody can walk straight to your room from the side alley if they know where they are going so keep your valuables always with you!
