Liked: We enjoyed the warm welcome of the owner, the central location (closed to the Fish market, on a quiet street) & the rooms; simple but nice.

Disliked: We did not appreciate the lack of respect of the "community rules" : sharing the bathroom with so many people who sometimes are not that clean or beeing unable to sleep because of the noise they made...

Liked: It was a cute appartment and the air con was a real must in August heat.

Disliked: I wasn't entirely sure that we were actually staying at Rooms Denis (it was the other side of town to the adverstised address!) We also booked a twin room and we had a double instead. The shower was also a bit tricky - the ceiling was so low you had to bend down, but it wasn't that big a deal.

Liked: We asked for a twin room priv bathroom but got a studio apartment with table and kitchen.

Disliked: No wifi at place as it was not as said bur a separate property

Liked: It was clean and well-located, the bed was comfortable and it was air conditioned - essential in 35-40 degree weather! The staff were friendly and helpful and we felt very welcome.

Liked: Location for Rooms Denis is superb and also staff was very friendly and always helpful with any questions. Really good place to stay in Split!

Disliked: Location is good but bit hard to find. Remember to call to owner if any doubt!

Liked: It doesn't get much better than this. Nicely furnished room (in our case, twin with shared bathroom). Comfortable beds, immaculately clean bathroom and kitchen, and absolutely charming owner and staff. Even did all my washing for me after I spilt milk through my backpack (don't ask!!!) Not a party hostel, more a shared apartment. Very quiet yet right in middle of town. Loved it!

Liked: (Our) First hostel in Croatia where were a good fan and there was enough quiet to sleep! Bonus scores for good Shower and fridge.

Liked: Great location - about a 2 minute walk to the palace walls and supermarket was just around the corner. Air conditioning was good and everything was super clean. Not really much bad to say - only real negative was the lack of internet. A great choice for Split.
