Liked: very nice staff that let me use internet for free, good breakfast

Disliked: long walk from center (15-20 min....but you can take a bus that goes directly, i just didn't want to wait)

Liked: 5 minute walk from Rijeka's only beach, 15 minute walk from big shopping center and town. Breakfast was included.

Disliked: They charged for slow internet (and wifi). The hostel is a little ways outside of town.

Liked: Extremely helpful receptionist (can't remember her name but she works the majority of the afternoons) who answered any and all questions, good location near a nice little beach, bus stop right out the front, nice rooms that catch the sea breeze.

Disliked: There was an unfortunate incident in the middle of my first night, where I woke extremely itchy due to the masses of bugs that had erupted from the sheets/mattress/somewhere in the bed and been biting me while I slept. The night reception guy was helpful and replaced the sheets, but there was another recurrence later in the night, forcing me to switch to a different bed entirely. They were very good about switching me to a different room (the original one has since been quarantined I was told) and then refusing to take payment for use of the internet because they felt bad. So you can see the good and bad sides of my experience right there.

Liked: We met a funny guy there to hang out with, but thats pretty much it... we left so early in the morning that we didn´t experience the breakfast but its a good thing that u include breakfast! :D

Disliked: the staff was not unpolite or anything, he just didn´t give that little extra. he was working real slow and it took us about 30 minutes to check in!

Liked: Obviously new or recently renovated, with bathrooms in the dorms. Very clean.

Disliked: Terrible place too meet people as mostly families and business people. Common room was being used and there was no atmosphere at all in the hostel.

Liked: Nada en especial. Mal señalizado, habitación muy pequeña.

Disliked: El hostel está bastante alejado del centro en relación a lo pequeña que es la ciudad. No está muy clara la entrada. Nos cobraron el desayuno cuando estaba incluido.

Liked: The rooms were big, beds and bathroom were clean.

Disliked: The staff were very unhelpful and rude. The atmosphere was dull,no craic. It was a good 15-20 minute walk from the city centre and very hard to find first time.

Liked: The hostel staff were friendly and the hostel itself was easy to reach. The rooms were modern and spacious with ensuite bathrooms in each dormitory.

Disliked: No cooking facilities were available, and a fan would have been a nice addition but only because it was 38C. A number of light fittings were taped up and the toilet seat was wonky

Liked: Very friendly staff! I met the people working all three shifts when I stayed there, and all of them were extremely friendly and helpful. Good breakfast and right on the bus line. Very clean rooms and bathroom.

Liked: We think that the price its a bit hight cose its not close of the city center. Its only possible by bus, and to go from the hostel to the city center we have to go up a lot of stairs! ufffffff! And only a computer with internet that we have to pay!?! However its a secure, clean place with fun people ;) Joao and Rita
