Liked: Very clean and nice room. We liked the area it was in. Free bikes.

Disliked: We were never shown around the property so we didn't even know if there was a common room. Property owner wasn't overly friendly, wasn't there when we arrived and never introduced himself. He didn't tell us until after that there is a €10 charge for a ride to the park which is strange since there's no other way there for people without a car.

Liked: This was a fantastic place to stay. It was very comfortable and the owner was really nice and very helpful. The room was a decent size, clean, and the bed was comfy. They had lounge chairs out on the lawn if you wanted to lounge outside and they even put some candle lanterns out at night so you could sit out and stargaze. It is about a 15 minutes drive to Plitvice Lakes. Once you get away from the Plitvice Lakes the valley opens up into rolling hills and there are a bunch of villages along the road before you get to Grabovac. Grabovac isn't very big and there are only a couple of restaurants nearby. As a result they were busy, so I recommend reserving. There is also a small grocery store near by. The lakes were amazing and I would definitely recommend visiting them!

Liked: Don't know didn't actually stay here.

Disliked: On arrival we were told by the owner that he had double booked and we couldn't stay there. He advised us however that he had arranged a room for us somewhere else for the same price and had organised for someone to pick us up. We were annoyed by this and recalled reading another review before our trip that had stated the same problem. So watch out this is not just a one off like we had thought, it seems that double booking is a regular occurence!! However, the other place was nice and clean but the location was not as good. There was no restaurant withing walking distance, just a shop a 20 min walk away up a busy main road with no pavement.

Liked: Jacob who runs the show is a fantastic chap, was very welcoming, helped us sort out our plans and went out of his way to show us a hidden gem of a spot on a river nearby with waterfall which we had to ourselves. Highly recommend!

Liked: We enjoyed our stay at Plitvice house. The guesthouse was only a few kilometers from the plitvice lakes and the room and bathroom were clean. The host was very friendly and gave us usefull information about the area and Croatia in general. The guesthouse is truly recommendable!

Liked: I would recommend this hostel to everyone. The staff was very friendly and helpful! I left my cell phone to the hostel and they contacted me by email the next day. We arranged a meeting to Split where we had already came. The house was only 8 km's from the park so the location was good. They offer a car ride in case you are not traveling by your own car.

Liked: Very clean place, friendly staff. To Plitvicke Jezera about 10 km, the easiest to get there by car. Nice place to stay with nice garden to rest in the evening or afternoon.

Liked: Large bedroom with high quality bed and mattress.The staff was very funny and helpful as well as fluent in english.The option of getting a breakfast at anytime and the flexibility of the check-in time.Internet wireless was very much appreciated.The house was very clean.

Liked: The hostel is 8 km from the lakes which would make it bad except the grandfather will take you by car to the lakes and then come pick you up. The bus will drop you off about a km from the hostel and we picked it up again to go to Zagreb. Very nice owners and enjoyed our stay

Liked: Zeljko is so nice & friendly. The accommodation is really clean and comfortable. They provide transportation to the lakes, pub and restaurant as everything is so spread out in this area. I highly reccommend.
