Liked: Great loaction, in the middle of the city with free parking.

Disliked: The shared bathrooms were a little small.

Liked: fully equipped, very spacious, large balcony - can't fault it - would book again here in a flash

Liked: Very close to the bus station and right next to the sea, so everything is very close by and within walking distance. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the extra bonus of a welcome drink! Thanks!!

Liked: location in center very close to beach, deluxe room was really spatious, fully equipped.

Disliked: quite difficult to get there by car as you have to go through parking spaces between blocks of flats.

Liked: The staff were awesome, the outside area was great for socialising, air conditioning in the room, free wifi, free welcome drink, very clean and really close to the harbour.

Disliked: The free laptop randomly shut down, no locks in the men's loos and they should improve the facilities in the kitchen for people in the dorm.

Liked: The dorm and public space had a nice feel to it. There was free internet available - both WiFi and a public laptop to use. The staff were very friendly and offered a free welcome drink on arrival. The beds were clean and comfortable.

Disliked: There was only one toilet/shower available for each sex so there was a bit of a queue at times for it.

Liked: Very well situated in the city center, still peaceful. The owner Tina is very friendly and we got good tips about where to eat and where to go, for instance, and always an answer to our questions. We did stay longer than what we first booked and I would go back!

Disliked: I think we booked a private room with bathroom, but we shared the bathroom (but just with two other rooms so it was no problem). We had a kitchen instead.

Liked: The owners are very friendly, the house is very well located (close to the beaches, port, restaurants, supermarkets) and relatively quiet. Our room (double en-suite) had a big, nice balcony and was equipped with a small refridgerator, air-condition and SAT TV. We did not meet any insects (mosquitos, spiders, cockroaches) in our room.

Disliked: We would have appreciated if there had been more towels provided - there were towels just for one person. They also could have been changed after one week's use. It can rather be compared with an appartment room (without own kitchen) than with other hostel rooms from our experience, where the rooms were being cleaned if our stays were longer than a couple of days. That is why we rated "cleanliness" between "average" and "good". Generally speaking, the hostel was very clean.

Liked: Fantastic room with kitchen. Good bathroom although unfortunately not en-suite. Extremely helpful staff and great central location.

Disliked: Room had a sofa bed rather than a proper bed so not as comfortable as might otherwise have been.

Liked: GREAT location, one minute walk to the main strip! Car parking inside the hostel. Nice and cosy, not too frantic (although we were there at the end of the peak season). Very helpful and friendly manager. Authentic Croatian BBQ for guest use.

Liked: it's very close, in the town centre and near the beach. It's simple and basic, but inexpensive and clean. The staff were very nice and friendly.

Liked: This hostel was amazing!!!! Clean, fun, friendly, safe and in the best location! The owner and Manager were awesome, helpful, generous people. They made Makaska so much fun and gave us so many great memories! You must go to Makaska and stay at this hostel!!! Give it 100% as it was easily the best hostel I have stayed at.
