Overview
La Villa lies on the shore of the Adriatic Sea, overlooking the Dalmatian coast, islands, and it is nestled in the Lopud renaissance harbour. Staying at La Villa is an idyllic 'get away' experience.
This small hotel has the beach at its front door and the island's botanic garden in its backyard. Lopud is a peaceful refuge without cars and other chaos of urban life.
The foundations of La Villa can be dated back into the 16th century, while its present form originated in 1862. The building was renovated in the 1980s, and all rooms were newly appointed in the winter season of 2004, giving La Villa its characteristic, calm and contemporary flair.
The longstanding tradition of La Villa hospitality has been revived, and the intimate scale and popularity means that reservations should be made. There may still be an opportunity to reserve the entire villa should a small group desire complete privacy, and the undivided attention of our staff.
