This is a perfect place to stay on Sipan. It's quiet, near the beach, self-catering, comfortable and good value for money. We had a great 10 days there. Highly recommend it!

Overview

If you would like to experience a breath of the south Dalmatia close to Dubrovnik, then we are the right address. This place is especially suitable for all those who appreciate silence and recovery. (Minimum stay - 3 nights.)

Island of Sipan is one of the islands of the Elaphite archipelago. Sipan is also the largest island of the archipelago covering area of 16.5 km2. There are two villages on Sipan - Sudurad and Sipanska Luka. Sudurad is located on the eastern side of the island, while Sipanska Luka is on the west. As Sipan is island that is in near vicinity of Dubrovnik (17 km away), this island is well connected with Dubrovnik and is very popular as tourist destination especially in the summer as there are regular boat connections to Sipan from Dubrovnik . The journey takes about one hour

There are numerous architectural monuments from the Middle Ages: the remains of Church of St. Peter on Velji Point from 11th century, Church of Sveti Ivan with its frescos from 11th and 15th century in Silova Sela, and the pre-Romantic Church of Sveti Mihovil from the 11th century, a Romantic-Gothic house, a Gothic tower, and the Renaissance Church of the Holy Spirit from 1569, all built as part of the Benedictine monastery in Pakljena.

This place is especially suitable for all those who appreciate silence and recovery.

Accommodation Information

The house with a 2000 m² large property is only 200 meters from the beach away.
It has 5 rooms, is rented the whole year long, and all rooms are equipped with an electric heating, which also enables stays in the colder months of the year.

Beside that there is a lounge with a TV available, which is also suitable for parlour games. From the landlord you can get very favorably: freshly caught fish, house wine, liquor and house-made olive oil.

The guests can also, according to their desire, use a kitchen with a dining-room situated in the house. A huge wealth of unaffected underwater flora and fauna offers a large selection for divers and underwater photographers.
