Liked: Although it was low season and we were pretty much the only ones there, Prof. Dujmic was very helpful. We had taken the early morning ferry from Korcula and hadn't had much sleep the night before so Prof. Dujmic made up our beds early and let us check in right away! The hostel is in a great location. Walking distance from everything.

Disliked: The directions were a little confusing.

Liked: Great hostel, Big room with AC, Comfortable beds and good location, very close to the supermarket, and few min. to the center and beaches. Also you can rent scooters from Dink for good money and explore the island, just ask him where to go. Dink and Papa Dink are awesome!!!

Liked: Dink was back at Uni so we dealt with his dad who was very friendly and helpful. The kitchen area was very good and our room had a lovely sea view and was clean. Excellent value for money and great location.

Disliked: Unfortunately, we had chosen this hostel as it said "Where the party never ends!" but we were the only guests there!! This is not the fault of the hostel however, as the whole of Hvar was suprisingly quiet!!!! We travelled there during low season (beginning of Oct) but we didn't think we'd be the only guests.

Liked: One of the best hostel I stayed in...they provided me with all information where to go and what to do in Hvar (where are the best beaches, the best places to eat, and what is worth for sightseeing...and at the end the main thing, everything about nightlife)...also supermarket is half a minute walking. The other guests I met were great and relaxed, so we had a very good time! Staff are wonderful, just ask if you need anything and you'll get it!

Disliked: nothing, it was perfect!

Liked: Had a quality time in Hvar thanks to staying at Dink's Place, everyone socialises around the kitchen in the evenings and we went out as a hostel every night. B is so helpful and was out with us every night..making sure the free shots were coming in at Kiva Bar! STAY AT DINK'S!

Liked: Such a friendly atmosphere, Dink and his Dad did everything possible to make my stay enjoyable. Really good location, I would definatly go back, and recomend it to everyone who is wanting to stay in Hvar.

Liked: This hostel has an amazing vibe, everyone we met was great. Each night everyone from the hostel would congregate around the dinner table and all go out together. The kitchen facilities were great, rooms and bathrooms very clean. All the staff were lovely, Dink was great. I think its really good value, the location is good as well, only a 5 min walk from the centre. Would definitely recommend.

Liked: Great place, everyone is lovely and makes you feel so welcome! Nothing is too difficult and there advice is brilliant. Would recommend.

Disliked: A little out of the way and can be quite hard to find but just ask for directions in advance! well worth the value for money.

Liked: The rooms are simple, but you have everything you need. (In a place like Hvar, you're probably out and about most of the time anyway!) My budget-minded husband and I stayed in a private room for 2 with a fabulous view of the ocean for our honeymoon. The staff--and especially Dink--are a delight. Text or call him and he's happy to meet you at the bus station or the harbor in Hvar to escort you back to the hostel. He's also helpful in securing rental cars/scooters/boats...just ask! The location is great. You do have to hike uphill for 5-10 minutes from the harbor area, but the view from some of the balconies and lounge areas is worth it.

Disliked: My one "complaint" (but really more of a warning) is that the hostel is located on a...well, not exactly busy...but well-traveled road. There's no A/C, so it's most pleasant to sleep with your windows open (there's a very nice sea breeze). That means you'll be woken up by the bustle outside in the morning. Still, I imagine it's much the same at other establishments, and it certainly wouldn't stop me from staying here again.

Liked: Dinks Place is an amazing atmosphere and a great way to meet other travellers. I have nothing bad to say about it, I even asked to stay 2 extra days. Dinko is very helpful and very beautiful. The staff is amazing, and you feel like you are staying at someones home. Fav hostel on this trip!

Liked: The best part about this place is that the owner, Dink, is super nice and very helpful. Highly recommended! Location was also great; although it's 5 minutes up the hill from Carpe Diem, that means it's only 5 minutes from a much nicer beach. So the location is pretty much perfect.

Liked: Dink is great, so are all the other guys and gals there. Always friendly and happy to help, and the view over to Vis island is awesome.

Disliked: Nothing to say here. The price is on par with other places, walk into town is only a few minutes extra from this side, but you're closer to the secluded beaches. The party life is definitely at the bars, not here.

Liked: good kitchen facilities and the rooms are really nice. We had a private room with a little balcony and i think the forms have air conditioning too. Dinks dad is also an excellent character.

Liked: I don't have anything bad to say about Dink's place, but I would probably stay elsewhere next time. There are so many places available in Hvar to stay & this was just average to me.

Disliked: It was just average for me. Although, a new shower curtain would be my first improvement on the place.

Liked: Great place to meet people. Dink and his father are very friendly making you feel at home. The rooms were nice and Dink has bikes to rent out. He tells you where is good to have a look at and what clubs are the best to try out.

Disliked: We had the private room with ensuite and balcony it would have been nice to have at least a fan in the room it was so hot!

Liked: Dink picked us up from the harbour gleefully calling out my name like we were old friends catching up for the first time in a while... and thats how it felt from then on... Dinko is awesome. Great guy, rented us scooters at a competitive price and was always around a corner somewhere genuinely interested in how we spent our day and if we were enjoying our time in Hvar. As for the accommodation, the room was awesome with an amazing view. Some people in other comments about Dinks Place have written that the distance from the city is too far... those comments must have been written by lazy people because if an 8 minute walk is too far, you cant be too health conscious. Overall, Dinks Place is a great, lively, vibrant asset to Hvar, and Dinko is just absolutely awesome. Hvar is absolutely fantastic also ! Great stay with no complaints at all. Thanks Dinko!!!

Liked: Dink and his father(=staff) are really, really friendly and helpful! Dorm was large and clean. Kitchen was ok and I liked the atmosphere between travellers. One of the best beaches and supermarket was really close to the hostel.

Disliked: Bathroom was little bit shabby
