Liked: This is a great value for money, especially considering the location is within easy walk to both beaches and the old town. The market is litterally just around the corner. There is a kitchen and parking lot. Air conditioning is also available but costs an extra 5 Euros per day. The walls are a bit thin so hopefully you won't have loud neighbors.

Liked: location on a 5 min walk from the beach and a 10 min walk from the town centre and nightlife. The woman running it was lovely, communal area was really handy for cooking own food.

Disliked: after 11pm have to be silent

Liked: we booked for a day here, but then we decided to stay there for 1 more nite since da place is great..we have to walk around 15min to get to hvar town. the owner is very nice. this is a very nice place for a family 2 stay.

Disliked: da kitchen is closed after 11pm..

Liked: Nothing

Disliked: This is the worse hostel we have been to...Here is our story...we arrived early. The room was not ready yet which was normal. We asked the lady if she could keep our bags in the corridor. She said yes but was really moody . She said yes and made us pay without giving us the keys. We spent the all day visiting. we came back around eleven. We were expecting to find our keys in the kitchen with a letter. Everything was Closed!!!!!!! I rang many times...Nobody answered....Our bags were insight the room and the room was paid but we couldn't get in....We rang , rang and rang, we call them on their mobile but nothing... After a while we went upstairs and banged on their doors....Nothing...After 45 minutes banging, waking up everybody ...She opened and she was so upset...what was she expecting? That we would leave the city without our bags? She shouted at us and showed us the room. The bathroom was smelling awful and there was not enough toilet paper (I noticed that before in the morning) Remember..We started banging just after 11pm...it was not that late.. Then in the morning...At 9.30am she used the vacuum cleaner in front of our door and started banging on our door..15 minutes vacuum cleaner and at 10.00 she kicked us out....We couldn't shower... I have made really good recommendation for loads of hostels, I have found loads of Croatian people really but this one was horrible..Plus this hotel is not in the city, it is quite far from the centre...25 minutes walk.

Liked: Definitely one of the best places i have stayed, and i would come back at any time. Close to the beach, supermarket and city center. Slavana is great and very helpfull. They pick you and take you back to the ferry. And finally the rooms are great.

Liked: Very good value for money, and in a great location - 5 min walk to nearest (swimming) beach, and 20 min walk to city centre, walking along the coast. Thoroughly recommend.

Liked: The view is sensational, there is a lovely balcony, which overlooks the harbour. The owner picks up and drops clients off at the bus/ferry depot.

Liked: Cheap hostel not far from the town. When you arrive call and they will pick you up and explain a quick way to get from the hostel to the town, a nice 10 - 15 minute walk along the water. Highly recommended.

Liked: Quite a distance from the main port so if you arrive by ferry be sure to call and arrange a free pick up. Owners were helpful and warm, and the rooms were excellent. Hvar is a beautiful place, definitely recommended. Will be back during summer!

Liked: Can't go too far wrong with this place, good staff, clean, reasonably close to the old town and beaches and nearby shop just a stones throw. Hvar rocked!!

Liked: pick up from near the port was great. owners were friendly and helpful, and gave us a map on arrival with routes to the town and beach marked out. supermarket is 1 minute walk away, kitchen facilities were good and clean. lovely room, even had our own balcony!

Liked: The room was apartment, and there was nice own terrace also.Owner helped us out and was able to drive us to ferry.The only thing was when we came at evening, there was not hot water coming from tap. It was very unpleasant surprise when we came there after a days travel.

Liked: The place is very clean. The owners are just lovely, friendly and helpful. they organise pick ups from and to ferries and give very good advice on what to do and where to go. Really lovely place. It's a 15 minutes walk from town uphill which can be a bit long but it's very quiet and away from the clubs etc... You can sleep! There's also a supermarket 1 minute away which is handy.
