Liked: Lovely owner, big terrace and only a 10 minute walk from the town centre, although it is up a hill on return, its nothing too bad as other comments may suggest. They picked us up and dropped us off at the bus station. Suggested a lot of great places and beaches.

Disliked: The apartment didn't have a kettle and didn't have any tea towels. There is no air con in the apartment so take in to account if booking in summer.

Liked: The apartment was spotless and well equipped. Our host was very welcoming, even picking us up from the bus station and showing us all the best places to visit on a map. Because the apartment is at the top of the hill, the view of the sea from the terrace is lovely. Also, both the old town and the quieter beaches at the other side of the bay are easily accessible via a few steps. The apartment offers a charming and affordable base for people wishing to explore the island.

Disliked: There was nothing to dislike about the property.

Liked: Great helpful staff, free printer and internet is a bonus, right in the heart of the old town.

Disliked: We had to take a short walk to another hostel which was all the same company, was worth it though

Liked: The location was perfect for seeing the old city and also for the bus station and port if you wanted to venture out to the islands. Checking out the sites was made easier by Baldo who was a perfect host and gave great ideas of where to eat/drink and which sites to see. Would def go back again for longer.

Disliked: Not being able to stay longer than a night.

Liked: The place was very clean and well equipped. Nice outdoor area with ocean views. Host who was very knowledgable about the town and places to go. Easy walk down to beaches and town, slightly harder walk back to the guest house though.

Liked: Hvar is rather expensive island, they have tourist prices for everything. We really liked about apartment's good kitchen because by cooking our own food it was possible to live quite frugally.

Disliked: 700 meters from the city center is all way uphill.

Liked: Fantastic place! The lovely owner will pick you up from the bus station, just around the corner from the ferry dock. She is fantastic!! Tells you all the places to visit in Hvar, plus locations of supermarkets, day trips to other islands etc. Great apartment, very clean, lovely little patio area and well-equipped kitchen. About a 15-min stroll down the hill puts you right by the water, and from there it's a short and very pleasant walk around the harbour to the main part of town. A 20-min walk to the beach. Highly recommend!!!

Liked: The owner was fabulous- even rented us their scooter at a very discounted rate! Very thorough and made us feel very welcome and comfortable. Property is a fair way out of town but not a problem with a scooter!

Liked: The apartment is really nice, there's a lot of space, great view to the sea, a huge balcony... Location was ok, the center is near but the house might be little difficult to find if the owners weren't so helpful. With their assistance we had no troubles. Perfect choice if you're looking for a confortable and calm place to stay!

Liked: Very friendly owner, helped us allways. Really nice apartment, makes you feel like in your own beach house. 24 hours hot water and a huge balcony. They have their own car parking place.

Liked: The house is high up on the hills of Hvar, but still only a 15 minute walk up from town if you go the right way. We walked to the house, but realised we should have called for a pick up when we arrived because none of the houses have addresses. We were offered home made lemonade and cheese and biscuits which was nice. The room was nice, quiet and private. View from top of the roof was amazing. One complaint; We are tourists, but the owner and her husband didnt realise we also speak and understand croatian. We were quite offended with the way conversations about us were held right infront of us. Husband is very rude, but we still recommend this apartment.

Liked: Massive apartment, great verandah, owner was very helpful with directions, quite far from town though and hard to walk back after going out as there are no street lights!

Liked: Absolutely brilliant service provided by a lovely host who even made us pancakes & fresh lemonade. We were collected & dropped off so as not to carry our bags in the heat. Most accommodating hosts we've met yet.The location may be a bit far out on really hot days but the views more than made up for it. The 4 bed apartment was huge with a great balcony. Very clean.

Liked: Clean and spacious apartment...we were given fresh lemon juice and cucumbers from the owner's garden....a 15 minute walk uphill from the town....great value.
