Liked: I ve stayed in many hostels across Europe recently and Villa Skansi is my favorite so far. The staff and owners( Matko and Julia) are genuine, friendly and very helpful. They provided me with much information including how to find the best beaches, and where the best places to eat and drink are. You can rent scooters,The Dorms are immaculate and secure, There s a bar on the hostels sun terrace, also, the other guests I met were a relaxed bunch and a good laugh. See you all next year I hope!

Liked: People are great, we had such a good time! They made really good atmostphere on their terace (with BEAUTIFUL VIEW!!) We rented scooters from them and made a tour around Hvar, that was really funny! Hostel is very clean and I liked two kitchens which you can use! The best thing is- internet is for free!!! That really saved me money! ;) I also liked the location because everything is close-beach, bars, main square, supermarket... I would recommend this hostel to everyone, you wont regret it!

Liked: This is the best hostel ever!!! Im definitley coming back next year!!! The place is so clean and I LOVED the bathroom showers!!! I even had my own locker so I could put all my things on a safe place! The owners are great (you have to try Matkos homemade wine!!) and the staff was so funny and helpful! Location was great too cuz everything is in a walking distance! Thank you all for making the end of my trip so good!!

Disliked: There is nothing to dislike here! :)

Liked: Good location, friendly staff and good bar.

Disliked: Sometimes it could be a challenge the use of the bathroom. The Private room did not have an A/C.

Liked: This hostel is in a great location and the staff are great- they personally addressed me by my name each time they saw me and helped me plan out my days. You can hire scooters and boats directly from the hostel and my day out on the water was definitely a highlight- the owner even drives you down to the supermarket for you to pick up drinks and food, and he supplies an esky filled with ice, free of charge. Great outdoor chillout area with a bar where you can meet other travellers. Highly recommend!

Disliked: Nothing particularly- the 9 bed dorm advertised is actually a 10 bed dorm, but not a big deal. Also the directions said go left from the port, but its actually right. If they changed these couple of things on the website, all would be perfect!

Liked: The location was good. The kitchen was nice, and there was a great common area!

Disliked: The dorms were small and cramped, and our room didn't have air conditioning. There weren't enough bathrooms. The staff were unhelpful and couldn't recommend anything for us to do on the island.

Liked: Gorgeous place, amazing view, super clean, big, and modern rooms, good clean and modern bathroom/shower, loved the outdoor kitchen, common area is a great place to chill, friendly family that runs the place, loved the rented scooters that were at a good price comparatively.

Disliked: nothing really - perfect for a 4 person dorm in a hip active area.

Liked: Place was great. Rooms were clean and staff were friendly and helpful. Location is set back from the town but this is where all the hostels seem to be. It was easily accessible by foot from anywhere in Hvar.

Disliked: this place was fully booked and then some. There were people sleeping on the couch in our room and also in the kitchen. The oven didn't work but it was entertaining watching people trying to cook oven only food in a fry pan! Internet connection was quite poor.

Liked: Every one is so friendly and the poeple who own it are so helpful and nice! The atomasphere Is amazing as well as the location and the rooms. It was so clean! The bathroom and rooms were Cleaned every morning and the bathroom was very modern and well kept. An amazing place to stay Every one must stay here!!

Disliked: Nothing - exept the very steep heel leading up to the hostel..

Disliked: outdoor patio closes too early, directions to get there arnt correct/easy to navigate.. They do not let you consume your own alcohol there..

Liked: Awesome Hostel, the staff is really great, the view from the bar is something amazing and rooms are really confortable. The bar is really fun and not expensive. Great place to stay!

Liked: Very social with friendly staff who buy you shots on a night out. Nice hostel bar as well with a great view.

Liked: I liked everything about this hostel!!! Everything is SO clean, rooms are new and modern with great bathrooms and showers (there is also an outside shower!) Staff and owners are very helpful and informed about everything! Rooms are safe because you have lockers in it and you dont have to worry about your stuff! Location is great because everything is within walking distance! I´ll be back next year for sure!

Disliked: The only thing I disliked is the fact I didint book for longer time!

Liked: Excellent hostel, the service was fantastic and the hostel staff and owners really make you feel at home! The view is amazing, and the hostel decor is impeccable with its Roman inspired design. You'll also love the free poured cocktails on offer at the bar, I was drunk after two drinks. The perfect way to end my 4 month travels of Europe. Thankyou so much!!!

Disliked: Internet a little slow and the walk up the hill to get to the hostel very interesing, but part of the experience :)

Liked: This hostel was a very welcoming, sociable and fun place, it has a great bar terrace with views of the sea, we had a private double room, which had its own sea view balcony which was great. There is the opportunity to hire a boat or scooters from there easily and at a good rate, the staff also organise bars and clubs to visit after the bar there closes which anyone can go to. It is strictly no noise in the hostel after 11pm. Also there were 2 computers with internet which you could use for free which was really useful. The best hostel we have ever stayed in.

Disliked: There were two toilet/shower rooms between 10 normally, but on our last night three extra guests stayed in the kitchen (which turns into a bedroom) which made it 2 between 13 which made it busy. Also the oven was out of order, but this did mean we saw a young lad trying to fry a pizza, which was hilarious.

Liked: Beautiful outdoor terrace with great outdoor furniture and a bar that overlooks the water.

Disliked: Early curfew at 11pm, but this seems to be the same everywhere throughout Croatia.
