Liked: We had an excellent stay here and ended up extending our trip to 5 nights, great value, beautiful place. The place was perfect. Already thinking about returning next year!

Liked: Best hostel ever. Had a great time here. I only planned on staying just one day, but I extended for another three days. Highly recommend!

Disliked: Nothing! When I am in Hvar again,I would definitely stay here.

Liked: We travelled around Croatia and stayed in a few different places but this was by far my favourite. Marija could not have been nicer (especially when there was a mix up and some other people stole our lift from the bus station and our room!) and recommended some really good restaurants and bars. The room was spacious and immaculately clean with a balcony, a kitchenette with lots of crockery and free wifi and air con, which was brilliant for the price. The communal terrace was also a lovely touch and got the sun all day. It was only about a 10/15 minute walk to the harbour and all the action, even if it was hard work going back up the hill on the way home!

Disliked: Leaving after only two nights!

Liked: It is well situated between the city and a beach on the other side, somehow in the middle. The staff is helpful and nice. They pick up us and drive us to the city. The room is overall clean, the bathroom small but clean and the balcony is very nice to rest or read on it.

Disliked: THere is nothing that I really dislike. The first thing I guess is advices to go or spend days. Marija gave a lot of advice in the car but did not really took the times to advice us.

Liked: Maria was extremely helpful and friendly, giving us a lift in her car when we arrived and taking us back into town when we left. She was even kind enough to shift her schedule around when a bout of food poisoning knocked me off my feet. The size of the room was great and cleanliness was exceptional.

Disliked: It's a bit of a long walk up the hill from the centre of town, which gets a bit tiring. On the plus side, the location is nearer to a beach which we otherwise wouldn't have gone to and which was by far the best beach within access from Hvar town.

Liked: Marija, she is briliant, she appears with free home made wine on an evening and coffee in the morning. It's a lovely appartment too.

Liked: Marija picked us up from the bus station when we first arrived and dropped us back after our stay. After showing us to our apartment she went and brought us some beers. Apartment was great, with a balcony, kitchen, bathroom and even a TV for fans of Croatian soap operas. There was a nice beach close by too.

Disliked: Hardly anything at all - to be really fussy I would say the bathroom is a little dated, but otherwise clean. The hill from the town can be tiring to walk up but the view is worth it.

Liked: Marija was very helpful, picking us up and dropping us to the bus station, and providing info and tips on things to do, places to visit etc. Also only charged us for a twin room even though we were staying in the triple room. The room itself was basic but adequate and the A/C worked well.

Disliked: Couldn't connect to the wifi, and there wasn't much happening in the hostel despite the lovely terrace at their disposal. This perhaps had something to do with the fact that Marija's rather surly, non-English speaking father didn't like any music being played!

Liked: Marija who runs it was so helpful, really lovely, and runs around to make sure you´re picked up and dropped off from the centre to avoid you having to lug bags up a hill. There´s a beautiful terrace where you can chill out, and a hammock swing. Ideal.

Disliked: Being up a hill was good for the thighs...!

Liked: Marija was absolutely fantastic, she went the extra mile for all her guests. She picked us up at the bus station, pointed out all the short cuts & it worked out only being a 15minute walk away from the centre. The apartment was lovely, with air conditioning and WiFi.

Disliked: The WiFi signal was really weak & we couldn't use it inside the apartment because of the signal, so we had to keep going up onto the terrace, but other than that it was fantastic!

Liked: Nos recogió en el puerto y nos llevó hasta el apartamento, Cuando abandonamos el apartamento nos llevó también hasta la estación de autobuses.

Disliked: El padre de la propietaria vigilaba a todo el mundo. Mucha suciedad. Todo el apartamento estaba lleno de polvo acumulado durante meses. La televisión no se podía ver. Las sábanas para la cama grande eran pequeñas.

Liked: Really friendly owner, picked us up and dropped us off at the bus station. Recommended places to go to and showed us how to get to things. The room was clean and well maintained. It was also relatively quiet with air conditioning.

Disliked: Some of the balconies are shared so if you want more privacy I'd look elsewhere though were weren't disturbed by our neighbours and if you want to meet people it would be ideal.

Liked: Really helpful to be picked up and dropped off for free at the bus stop and the balcony out the front is really nice to sit out on in the evenings.

Disliked: the bed was a bit uncomfortable and you'll have to get used to walking up the hill in the height. It wasn't far but can be a bit tiring so I wouldn't reccomend it if you're out of shape or looking for maximum convenience other than that the location was good though

Liked: Great location - right in between the beach and the main square. Also, every room has its own kitchen, and there's a beautiful patio to hang out and relax while you're there. Also, Maria picked us up from the bus stop when we arrived and dropped us off when we had to catch an early bus to the ferry port.

Disliked: Nothing

Liked: This is a nice house, we got a private balkony which was great. Wireless LAN was good, too. And you should take the pick up service they offer, they even drove us to the bus station very early in the mroning which was of great help.

Disliked: It is a bit far and difficult to find with the luggage, but as said before, they offer a pick up service. Towels could have been newer.
