Liked: Marija is very friendly and helpful and was happy to provide lifts back to the harbour when we left, which was a must really given the distance and amount of steps that would otherwise have to be negotiated.

Liked: Our stay at Villa Marija was wonderful! Marija couldn't have been a better host - she was so kind and hospitable and made us feel right at home. When we arrived, there was a plate of treats waiting for us in our room! The twin room we stayed in was nice and clean, had a very nice bathroom with hot water, and a kitchen as well. The balcony outside our room had tables, umbrellas, lounge chairs and towels set up for the guests. The walk into town took about 10 minutes, through a very nice neighbourhood. The beach, about a 15 minute walk in the other direction, was absolutely beautiful and well worth the walk. We would definitely stay at Villa Marija again and would recommend it to anyone traveling to Hvar!

Liked: Marija was a delightful host and greeted us with a tray of local goodies.She met us in the town and also drove us about 10 k's to the other ferry terminal without charging for it.

Liked: SO GOOD. This was probably the best place we have stayed at and have been travelling for over 2 months. The owner is so nice and gave us biscuits and a drink on arrival. The location is excellent, you can see the sunset over the ocean and islands. There is a balcony, large kitchen, bathroom and its very clean. Hvar is brilliant!

Liked: Marija was lovely! She came to meet us at the port, despite it being 6am! Then whilst we settled in she made us tea with bisucuits and fruit. The apartment isnt far from town, about 5ish minute walk (if you can do stairs), but bit too far to come and go throughout the day. Marija also kindlly took us to port for our early morning ferry to Split. We woudl defnitely stay here again.

Liked: Lovely people who run it, helpful and will pick you up at the station. A walk away from town, but not too far. Not close to the beaches, though (and I think it was advertised as being so...). All good!

Liked: Very friendly and helpful staff which will go out of their way to help if they can. Also their is a large number of wild tortoises just outside the rooms which are amusing to watch.

Liked: Absolutely amazing. Maria was so welcoming, picked us up from the bus station on our arrival and showed us all around the island. The rooms were fantastic value for money, with a kitchenette, bathroom and balcony. Next door to a beautiful beach and five minutes from the harbour. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Liked: The lady who manages the hostel is so charming. The facilities are very clean and comfortable. We didn't know that the room included private bathroom and ¡kitchen¡ there is a supermarket close to. Also there is a terrace to enjoy the beautiful night.Although the city is relative far from the house it is very near, just 10-15 minutes walking, we have to have into account that is a small village and the way is among other nice houses. It's really worth. Ahh....You can rent a scooter or a boat just in the house at a good price.regards from Spain.From Spain
