Kuca Sobol

Sobol household is located in the amazing valley of butterflies - valley of Kupa river in Gorski kotar, in the village Kočićin (Kocicin), 7 km from Brod na Kupi.

When we decided, back in the year 2003, to renovate the ruins of an old mountain-house, we wanted to put emphases on slowly forgotten beauty of mountain architecture and mountain cultural heritage through construction and renovation in old-mountain style.

We wish that our dear guests, besides superior quality of accommodation, enrich their stay through familiarizing the natural and cultural wealth of the Region of Gorski Kotar.
The very fact that the Sobol household is located in the Magnificent butterflies valley, which accounts over 500 species of butterflies and is situated in the near of Kupa river in Kupa valley in so-called state of Petar Klepec, is reason enough for you to come and enjoy the silence, fresh air, bird singing and to feel what does it mean to be a part of nature.
