Liked: The garden is wonderful, the people are really nice and helpful, it's about 20/25 mins walk to the old town and about the same to Lapad. You can walk everywhere and it's right by the harbour.

Disliked: No problems with the property. Although be aware that directions given are from the local bus station rather than the main bus station. If you get dropped off at the main bus station, walk with the bus on your right for about 10/15 minutes and you'll see a small yellow sign for the guesthouse at the end of the harbour.

Liked: Bokun Guesthouse is a charming place to stay where you can meet folk from all around the world. I stayed here in June 2010 and used the Bokun Guesthouse as a base from which I visited many of the islands in the area as well as Kotor in Montenegro. Bokun Guesthouse is well situated opposite Gruz Harbour and is close to bus stops for the Old Town and Cavtat. It was also close to a supermarket and boats offering excursions to the nearby islands. In all I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this excellent guesthouse to anybody wishing to stay in the area.

Liked: 1) Fantastic location! Very strategic for those who want to see not only the GRAD /Old town but also how croatioan people actually live! In addition it is close to infrastructure the locals use: shops, cafees, green market, boats to the islands therefore you dont pay the tourist price and save loooots of money on food and cafes! 2) Family atmosphere! Feels like home!!! very friendly!3) They have real garden (looks in reality like in the pictures)! We had breakfast in the garden every day! was amazing!4) Friendly owners!

Liked: Full of character. a home from home. Peaceful yet in the heart of the town. A great location and far better to stay in than the old city. Very convenient for buses, boat trips and ferries and within short walk of nice bay for bathing.

Liked: Close to the bus and boat terminals makes for a good location. An easy 20 minute walk or short bus ride to the old town. Good priced place to stay in Dubrovnik.

Liked: The accomodation is fairly well located as it is between the bus station (where we arrived from) and the old town. It is set back from the road where regular buses run to the old town. We usually walked, quite far to walk with rubbing flip-flops (about 25 minutes), but the buses are good and cheap and theres a supermarket only a couple of minutes away too. The house has a nice garden that makes it feel quite relaxing and the room was nice enough and clean, although we were a bit anxious about being rowdy as it always seemed very quiet. The family didn't speak much english except for the son but were friendly and gave us lots of fruit. Overall we enjoyed our stay and felt it was good value for money.

Liked: Helpful owner. Must be great in the summer; we went at the end of the season and there were few other guests which was disppointing as we like to meet up with people from all over the world. Good location for trips to the Elafiti islands. Good bus servive nearby too.

Liked: Lovely hosts, beautiful garden, comfortable rooms -- we had a great time. It's a bit of a walk to the Old Town, about 20 minutes, but there are some good views on the way.

Liked: Toni picked us up from the bus station and drove us the short distance there (it was hot so appreciated). Toni was very friendly. Room had a/c which was needed in late August. Old town is about 25min walk or a simple bus ride away. Room had a small fridge & tv as well. Dubrovnik is amazing.
