Liked: Very friendly and helpful staff - great location (easy to reach from bus station and a short bus ride to Old town). Room was good value for the amount paid. very pretty surroundings of the guesthouse

Disliked: Bedbugs! Entrance is up an alleyway which can be a bit intimidating for a lone traveller in the evening/at night

Liked: Good welcome & fruit bowl in apartment was lovely. Good clean accommodation and well fitted kitchen for cooking own meals . Certainly a green oasis.Friendly people& good recommendation for local restaurant.

Liked: A friendly, unpretentious guesthouse with a wonderful family atmosphere in a beautiful, tranquil setting, opposite the port , close to a small market, amidst everyday Croatian life, away from the hordes of tourists that visit the Old City but only a short, easy bus ride from it's attractions.

Liked: Brilliant Location, Lovely family run guest house. Very Helpful...... Cant praise our stay enough. We also bought some of his home made wine :)

Disliked: Cant think of anything bad to say. It is what it is. If you're nice people they will be nice to you!

Liked: Great atmosphere, family run property with a great garden patio to have drinks. Really feels like you're in Croatia, not just some hotel room anywhere in the world. Easy 20 minute walk (or 5 minute bus) to the old town and only 300m from the bus station/port.

Disliked: The rooms are basic but it has everything you need. In such a great city you don't spend a lot of time in the room anyway.

Liked: The hospitality of The Bokun;s family is incredible ! The location is nice if you;re not afraid to take the bus for 5min-10min from the old town, near a nice market.

Disliked: The drain of the shower was not always working properly.

Liked: The property is located close to the bus and ferry stop. It is also only a 20 minute walk from the beach Uvala Lapad and about a half hour walk from Stari Grad. It's also along the bus line if you prefer to take the bus. The staff are very helpful. Only downside: no kitchen, but if we needed a plate or fork, they provided it for us without any questions.

Liked: The staff or owners of the house were very accommodating and extremely nice. Everything went very well and the house itself was well kept.

Disliked: Nothing. Except for the washing machine was broken, so we could not do our laundry but that is not a big deal.

Liked: Super liebe Menschen, sehr sauber, sehr hilfsbereit, schöne Lage direkt am Hafen, einfach toll...meine Freundin und ich haben uns im Guesthouse Bokun wirklich sehr wohl gefühlt... vielen Dank!!!!

Disliked: für uns war es ein perfekter Urlaub und es hat uns gar nichts gestört :-)

Liked: The air-con! Fantastic in the stifling hot summer, it was so nice going back to a lovely cool room. The location was also wonderful, 5 minute walk to the catamarans out to the islands, Korcula, Mljet etc, and 2 minutes to a bus stop with about 5 different buses into town (which took about 10 minutes). These two factors really did make Bokun excellent value for money.

Disliked: The staff weren't quite as helpful as in other places we stayed, and didn't always have the best knowledge on local activities - on our first day, we wanted to take a boat out to Lopud but were told that the last one had left at 10am. Turned out they went pretty much all day, so it was a good job we checked ourselves! You're paying for a (lovely) room though, not a tourist information service, so not really a big deal.
