It is these 20 downhill minutes of distance that guarantee a good night's sleep during the summer frenzy of the Old Town; still, the convenient local bus stop just across the street, abundance of local taxis or possibility of setting up a shuttle service provide a release from the trouble of climbing back up if you don't feel like it. And all of these "local" transportation offer you the ease of access to all Dubrovnik sights especially if you do not feel like walking. Some of these include: Old City (10 minutes), Lapad bay (5 minutes), selection of beaches (5 – 10 minutes) and the necessities – Hospital (10 minutes), Main bus station (10 minutes)... Our location is actually very local, with opportunities for vivid insights into everyday moments of Dubrovnik residents and views of green woods and hills surrounding the City. The area is called Hladnica, which would translate as a 'cooling place'– and correctly insinuate this is one very cool location :
