Liked: Tatjana was proactively helpful in giving us guidance on accessing Dubrovnik's sightseeing areas.

Disliked: Location was on the periphery of Dubrovnik, HOWEVER, it was only a 15 minute walk to the Old Town, and if that walk down and back up is too taxing, there is a bus stop (take the #3 bus into town) right across the street that is regular and reliable from 0600 - 0100. I'd read other reviews that were negative about the steps/stairs to climb to access Tatjana's. If you're looking to hop out of bed and walk downstairs to Old Town this is not for you. If you like leisurely walks through town or don't mind taking a very easy bus system to Old Town, and if you're looking for a quiet, clean place to crash after sightseeing all day or dinner at night, this is a tremendous value.

Liked: Tatjana is extremely friendly and the view is spectacular from the hostel terrace. Peaceful area. The room was nice and clean with Hello Kitty paintings on the walls. :D One of the best places we stayed in on our three week trip across the Eastern Europe. Highly recommended!

Disliked: The location isn't the best but the view makes up for it. It's a short bus or cab ride away from the center but you can also walk. Lots of stairs but then again, in Dubrovnik it's all about the stairs.

Liked: A feeling of living in an authentic Croatian village with views over the city.

Disliked: Further away from the city centre than portrayed, not good for the less mobile! Bus services back to the area from city centre not very frequent.

Liked: Tatjana came to pick us up from the ferry free. She was very nice and helped us. The view over the town from up was very nice. It was an interesting experience to have to take the bus to get to the places. Although it is far from eerywhere, the bus stop is almost accross the apartment, and the buses arrive pretty much on time. It does not take too long to get to the ferry or to the old town. It is a small country, and town after all.

Disliked: Pretty old style furniture. It is on a road that makes one feel unsafe. However, it turns out to be safe. It is a place to spend the night if you are looking for a shelter after touring all day. Not a place enjoy staying and spending time inside.

Liked: Tatjana is really really lovely, very welcoming. The apartment itself has an amazing view, worth the walk up all those stairs, and is very well-equipped and relaxing. There is no wifi but would definitely recommend staying here.

Liked: Tatjana and her family are really friendly and do all to feel you comfort at your holiday. We get a welcome drink and also she helped us when we need something which we miss at the supermarket. You are on top of the mountain and you have a nice view over Dubrovnik and also have a nice view to the sea. We enjoyed this trip and we will come again.

Disliked: Only problem is, the stairs:-) So you have to be fit to "run" the stairs to the supermarket and to the city. But for sure you can also use the cheap bus.

Liked: Tatjana seemed to genuinely want to help us the best out of our stay. she was always there if we needed something. we arrived late after midnight and she still collected us from the bus station. the property was clean and perfectly suited to our needs. we had an amazing view of dubrovnik too. The only drawback was that the air conditioning only worked in the bedroom and it was very loud. otherwise, we had an enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend it to others.

Liked: Easy to find, clean room and a cold beer on arrival, what could you ask more for :) Tatjana and her husband are both extremely nice and helped us to sort out a car related problem very warm and helpful people.

Liked: First of all the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. All the rooms were comfortable and there is a lovely terrace with a great view.

Disliked: Although it wasn´t so far from the old city and beaches, to get back to the apartment was´t so ease because of the all the steps (but it´s ease to get a taxi or a bus if you are close to the old town).

Liked: absolutely fantastic place!Had a two bedroom place to ourselves all facilities to cook, washing machine, air con, tv, wireless.Marco was friendly and helpful. Got picked up from the Port. I would recommend a pick up when you first arrive as it will be a little tricky to find from a map. yes it is up on the hill so you do have a walk into town but the sunset view is incredible!Thanks so much for having us!

Liked: Very Clean, Easy access to public transport, had personal touches around the apartment it wasn't just a sterile hotel suite it was light and comfortable. Loved the private balcony with a fantastic view.

Liked: Tatjana was very welcoming with a beer on the first night and an overview of things to do in Dubrovnik. The walk up and down really wasn't a problem (we're a 25yr old couple) - we didn't take the bus in the 4 days we were there - it also gives a great view over the sea as you walk down through the charming back streets. You wouldn't get any of this if you stay down at the Hilton!!Apartment is clean and comfortable, we had a great time here.Rob & Louise

Liked: Unfortunately there are several apartmants you can rent and ours was not fantastic at all. Very Dingy, no balcony and a big distance from the old town. Tatjana is gorgeous though.
