Liked: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Room Lukre. The location could not be better - 5 minutes to the Old Town, 5 minutes to the beach. The room even has a great view of the sea and city walls. Livio and Marilyn, our hosts, were very helpful before and during our stay. Their attention to detail ensures that you will have absolutely everything you need while staying at Room Lukre. We hope to go back someday!

Disliked: Granted, we were there during peak season, but it was still a bit pricey.

Liked: Near the old city; comfortable; nice view from the window; clean; owners very helpful.

Disliked: Noting to dislike about the property. The only suggestion to travellers is that Dubrovnik is not a good place to bring a car! Too crowded.

Liked: The location of this apt. is perfect, a two minute walk to the Old Town and twenty meters from the nearest beach. A further ten minutes in the opposite direction around the cliff brings one to a really nice place to swim. The owners are both very friendly and speak excellent English. They keep the apt. to a high standard.

Liked: I liked how it was so clean and that the location was so close to the beach and the old town part of dubrovnik.Liivio was also very helpful gave us information on croatia and brought us to the airport

Liked: marilyn and livio were excellent. the communication for getting to the room was excellent (via email before hand). anything we needed was only a phone call away and was seen to promptly. livio explained everything about the room. we felt very comfortable there, it was clean, and it was great being situated just outside the old walls with a lovely window looking out on to them. recommend highly.Everything about the room was great. The only thing I would like to add about dubrovnik, is if you want to see the islands, stick with lokrum. the elaphite islands are overated, and the guys that run some of those boat rides (m/b mare) are stinky pirates!

Liked: First, it's not a hostel. it's essentially a hotel room inside of an old apartment building. I would recommend the room to couples only, two people that want to stay near the old fortified city.
