Liked: Warm people and very accomodating. Very clean. From the Andrija Hebrang road look on the left hand side for Luna Restaurant and Russian bakery. Keep going a bit until you see a blue sign on the left side. (Ulica Franca Preserna) Walk up the stairs to #8.

Liked: very charming and quiet surroundings, immaculately clean and the bed was absolutely divine. The view of the marina from the room was lovely, and the bathroom was very large and clean. Anka and Vinko manage the rooms quite well, even tho they do not really speak English, they do communicate by drawing maps of the bus system......which is very close and access to town is extremely easy.

Liked: This was a lovely place and the owners were so helpful and friendly. The room had everything we wanted. It was comfortable and relaxing. I would have liked to have stayed longer. Great value for money and all the facilities we needed.

Liked: This was a great hostel in a great location for a great price with some great people! The Room has it's own balcony, was very clean and comfortable. The location is almost exactly half way between the old town and the port (Gruz). the city centre is 2 minutes away. One of the best things about staying here is the hospitality of the owners, the son and his lovely parents, who when we arrived had juice and pasteries for us, likewise when we were leaving. So my advice to anyone going to Dubrovnik, is do stay at the Anke rooms, they are superb!

Liked: It was really authentic and even though the landlady didn't speak much English she was very helpful and accomodating. The views from the terrace were beautiful!!

Liked: the host - Anka, she is a very nice person, and her husband. You feel warm and friendly after meet them. Although I didn'r know what she said sometimes, anyway......................very nice!

Liked: Really great, friendly people run this hostel... they offered me a drink when i arrived (which was late but luckily they were waiting up for me!) Really big, clean room too!

Liked: we enjoyed the family atmosphere, the helpfulness and good tips on what to do, where to go etc but appreciated being left alone too. There was no curfew.The room and bathroom were very clean as was the rest of the house. we had a, lovely balcony with our room & great views to the coast/sea.
