Liked: Hosts were very friendly. Room was clean and quiet. Cozy bed. Quaint grape vine covered terraces on the property. We enjoyed it and would happily stay here again.

Liked: It's very authentic, run by an older Crotian couple who make you feel right at home when you get there. There are a lot of stairs to climb to get there though!

Liked: We were looking for a clean safe place to sleep between arriving late on a flight and leave early for a bus. This place was great for this. It is not in the Old Town but we were able to walk to the bus in the morning.žOwners were sweet but spoke no English.

Liked: the host and her husband were lovely. Not much english spoken but very friendly and warm. Communication fine if all you want is bus times, local ammenities atc.

Liked: location, friendly owner (although she hardly spoke a word of English!), good size room and views across Dubrovnik, on main bus route to old town, but in walking distance of old town and main ferry port.

Liked: Location, it was approx halfway between the bus/ferry terminal and the old town of Dubrovnik about 15 minutes or so walk. Friendliness of family running the hostel. Really nice people. English spoken, maps and information brochures given out on arrival. Very very clean. Could make a tea/coffee and fridge available. Extremely enjoyable stay. Definitely recommend.

Liked: friendly couple that owns the place. Clean room and bathroom. Large bed! Great view of the hills, Gruz harbor and the Sea!

Liked: Had a beautiful, private and large grape vine covered porch overlooking Dubrovnik from high up the hill which I only had to share with one other room. They provided tea coffee and shared kitchen facilities with full size fridge between the two rooms. Excellent value for money, very helpful owners who helped with suitcases up the stairs, bus locations and timetables, close to shops (which involves going down and back up staircases) just a pitty they didn't speak better English.

Liked: It's really clean and it's located in a good position if you want to take the ferry or the bus, but not very near to the old city of Dubrovnik. However, you can walk or take bus 8. if you don't meet the owner, you will find his parents. They are really nice people, but almost don't speak Engish, German, French and Italian, so... be prepared for it! :)

Liked: The rooms were big and there was a good light coming from the big balcony. We didn't know that the hostel didn't charge us via credit card and almost left out without paying. We wan't to apologize that and encourage Anka rooms to install credit card payment machines. It raises trustworthiness as well as makes payment methods easier.

Liked: The family is wonderful, they are so nice and very helpfull...specially for the lemonade that they give us after a long walk to get to their house....If we go back to Dubrovnik, we will stay there again for sure.
