Liked: Friendly owner went out of his way to help us with transportation to airport and tips for sightseeing.

Disliked: Needed to climb up and down from old town to access the hostel.

Liked: everything!!! Milo and his family are wonderful, friendly and clearly love their job! lovely breaky, fab view of the sea. nice pool and free beer. lots of information and brilliant value. they just couldnt do enough for us. always chatty and offered lifts to and from the bus station.

Disliked: nothing. anyone who complains about the steps has forgotten about the beautiful view from the guesthouse. it was good fitness!!

Liked: Milo's great, very friendly, clean, well maintained, all in all fantastic.

Disliked: It's a short (15 minutes) but steep (300 steps?) walk back from the old city, which could be an issue for some.

Liked: Best accomodation I've ever stayed in. Milo is a fantastically welcoming and generous host and pretty much every other hotel / hostel / B&B I've stayed in could learn from him.

Liked: Everything except the location. House master is extremely kind and helpful just want to make u feel like at home.

Disliked: The hostel is located up on the hill, if u go down to the old town on foot it takes about 15-20 minutes. If goes up it takes longer. Bus is a good choice but not frequent. If u drive or go by taxi, all above mentioned will not be an issue.

Liked: Outstanding hospitality, a true pleasure to stay in such a homely place. Views are terrific, pool is fabulous on a hot afternoon, and the old town is a short walk away. Great to be so close to everything yet have your own piece of quiet with a cool breeze up on the hill side.

Liked: Milo was fantastic!! Very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and tidy. Location was about a 15 minute walk from Old Town but worth it considering the amazing view and swimming pool and terrace.

Liked: Excellent welcoming by Milo, who comes and picks you up at the station. Milo is surely the friendliest of all croatians, the rooms are sparkless clean, with all the services you may need. The house is 10 minutes walk from the city centre, which enables to appreciate both the old city, the telepheric, and the eastern part of the city. A big plus !

Liked: Very helpful and friendly staff. Great breakfast and gorgeous views. Would definitely stay here again. It was low season when I visited so it was quiet but still a lovely place to stay.

Disliked: We enjoyed climbing the steps, 15" climb. Someone who did not like steps would need to find bus connections.

Liked: The welcome drink on arrival was a very nice gesture, great sized pool although we only used it once, very very clean room with lovely french style windows and good size. Free suncream left on the table outside our room, internet password for wifi and comfy beds....

Disliked: Myself and my boyfriend stayed here for three days and not once did the staff change our towels or our toilet roll, we were a bit suprised as the main guy seemed very friendly and helpful on arrival. I think the villa was very quiet, but it was September and i think that is low season.

Liked: Location is close to the old town. The house is nice. Breakfast is wonderful and fresh.

Disliked: There was only wifi internet, not interesting when you don't carry a computer when traveling.

Liked: Really nice room and facilities. Ivo was incredibly friendly and helpful and couldnt do enough. He also offered to give us a lift to our next hostel near Pile Gate.

Disliked: The only negative is the location, which is at the top of A LOT of steps. But it's not a buge negative and I would genuinely recommend this hostel for the room, the breakfast is a great bonus, and Ivo really made it worthwhile.

Liked: The owner is very nice and everything is clean and there was a nice breakfast.

Disliked: They could give better indications of how to arrive by car and where to park the car as that wasn't clear.

Liked: The rooms were clean and tidy and Milo and Ivo and their families were very welcoming and warm. They made us feel at home and the free breakfast was a bonus. They also picked us up fro the bus station and were willing to take us to the airport for a reasonable fee.

Disliked: The Villa is up quite a steep hill from the old town and it can be quite tiring after a night out to have to walk back up!

Liked: Great private accommodation in good location, away from the crowds of tourists - lovely pool, great view over the sea, great breakfest, very clean, very friendly owners - highly recommended!

Liked: Milo, the owner, is super nice and very helpful. The breakfast is great with Prsut, Coppa, lots of fresh fruit, a good variety of yoghurt and more features. From the breakfast room and pool, you have a great view. The rooms are very clean and you get fresh towels every day.

Disliked: Villa Klaic is not very central. From old town, it's a 20 - 25 min. walk upstairs.

Liked: Milo (and family) run a wonderful guest house close to the old town with a brilliant view over the bay. Even despite the steps (yes, there are lots, but I think anywhere in Dubrovnik would have that many outside the old town and they are spread out!) it is a perfect place to stay. Milo's advice (e.g. to ignore the ferry times from the Tourist Info and find the correct ones himself) and enthusiasm are priceless. Additionally, his refusal to hear of you getting a bus to the ferry port etc really made you feel welcome and made things a lot easier. Ensuite rooms were perfect and was great to meet fellow holidayers at the villa. Breakfasts are continental style, the pool is great and Croatia is a wonderful country - hope to go back soon!
