This was a lovely little place to stay at in Dubrovnik.
The hostel owners' Mum picked us up from the airport and soon as we got there, Marija, the owner, sat us down with some cakes and juice and pointed out all the interesting places to visit on a map,recommended the best times to go, and some good restaurants. A lovely reception to be met with, and we got some really handy tips that we wouldn't have known otherwise (try to walk the city wall after 4pm, and not on a weekend - they will be less busy as all the tour groups which clog up the wall will have left, and at 4pm it will not be too hot on the wall). The rooms were fresh & clean, as was the bathroom, and the hostel is a 20 min walk to the old town. The walk there and back involves a lot of steps, but not hard work.
I would definitely recommend this place to stay at - you don't get a lovely local feel and welcome like this at hotels!

The owner was very friendly and gave us all the information about the city attractions with maps and lots of tips of how to enjoy Dubrovnik.

This is really a room in a home quite a bit away from the old town. The hosts are lovely and it is relatively easy to get around on the bus. We enjoyed our stay here - I would recommend it for those who dont mind being a bit out of the action and want a quiet nights sleep

Neda and Maria were very helpful and kind. It was very clean and comfortable. The only problem we had with it was it was a bit far away but the walk down the hill was fine and the bus up the hill was cheap and easy too. Can't really complain for the price.

Neda is really nice, its like staying at your grandma's house if your grandma was Croatian and didn't speak much English. When we arrived she had fresh picked grapes ready for us. She also offers to cook you breakfast or do your laundry for 5 euros. As others have said its on top of a hill so it is a bit of a hike but its worth it.

Very hospitable, warm and welcoming. Great place to have a good nights sleep after a week sailing around the Islands!!

Marija was really helpful with us, we follow all her tips and we were successful!! :) Neda is de owner, she doesn't speak english but she always care you have juices, coffe and cookies. A great character!!

we especially enjoyed the great hospitality and atmosphere.
we were a bit surprised, because we didn't expect a family guesthouse but it was really nice.!They also give great tips and handy information for sight seeing. What best to do during our short stay in Dubrovnik. Glad we went there..
For people who would like to stay in the old town after 12, it is better to find something in the old town itself. The last bus goes to the guesthouse at 12.15. am. For us it was no problem though

My room at Neda's guesthouse was clean and comfortable, with a big bed, tv and fridge. Marija and Neda were very helpful with all aspects of planning my stay in Dubrovnik. The location is walking distance to the old town and it's a breathtaking view all the way. The family's generosity and friendliness was the best thing about my stay.

Maria was lovely & very helpful! Whole family was very nice and picked us up from the airport & drove us back despite our flight being at 5.30am.

Staff is extremely friendly and helpful (plus courtesy coffee, juice, fruits etc.), and the guesthouse itself is a very good value for money (in its cathegory, of course).
I would fully recommend this hostel to those (young) travellers who look for cheap and simple accommodation and don't mind the drawbacks of shared bathrooms and the not negligible daily physical excercise to climb uphill.
