Liked: As its a guesthouse and not a hostel it wasn't going to have the same sort of atmosphere but we didn't once feel like we were trespassing in anyone elses house, the whole family was really friendly and made us feel really welcome. Maria was also great for letting us know about the sites to see in dubrovnik, told us some great and cheap restaurants and was really helpful. We got picked up from the bus station as well which was a great help as we wouldn't have been able to find it without the pick up. It was really nice to have a private room too. We also took Maria up on the option for a transfer to the airport which only cost 20euro and took about half an hour, and wasn't going to be much cheaper on the bus so it was definatley worth the money for the ease of it. Great value for money.

Disliked: It isn't the most central and there are a lot of steps to get back upto the guesthouse, however it isn't that much of a challenging walk, just as long as you are sensible about it and don't go in the middle of the day.

Liked: The owners were very helpful and friendly. They gave us a free lift from the bus station. Room and bathroom was very clean.

Liked: Very friendly staff. Maria (daughter) was very helpful and explained everything where things are and what to go see. Rooms nice, large bed, clean. Great terrace for breakfast and relaxing.

Liked: Maria was very helpful. Explained everything, gave us her number so could text if needed anything. Free transfers from the bus and ferry. Nice room. Big bed. Only 20min walk from old town.

Disliked: Stairs - but Dubrovnik was very hilly so can't avoid.

Liked: The guesthouse was really lovely and the owners were so helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to help us, they collected us from the airport, they phoned the bus station so we knew what time and how much our next bus would be and then they dropped us at the bus station. They recommneded things to do in Dubrovnik and places to eat that we prehaps wouldn't have tried if we hadn't known about them. They are a lovely family that made our stay a pleasure and I would recommend it to oither people and I ould stay there again.

Disliked: The guesthouse is quite high up so there were alot of steps to climb however you can space this out by stopping at the bars along the route. It shouldn't put you off but you need to be aware that you will be climbing steps daily to get about!

Liked: very friendly family and we were allowed to leave our bags there and wait the next day until our flight.

Disliked: rather far from the old town and not very close to any restaurants or bars/cafes

Liked: Neda and Maria were both incredibly kind and helpful.The coffee, tea, juice and expecially wafers on constant supply made the Guesthouse feel like home, and after the trek up the hill, the juice was wonderful!! Maria's introduction was comprehensive and very useful. Free pick-up from the bus station / ferry terminal is offered, if you let them know in advance and is very useful given the steep hill / high taxi prices. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean and nice.

Disliked: No kitchen, though this is in the description. Quite a long walk from everywhere, though it was nice to see areas outside the centre. Local bus timetables are confusing and can run infrequently, making leaving a little difficult!

Liked: The place was ok

Disliked: The problem about this place is that is too far way from the old town, and everything is on old town. The city is like a montain, on the bottom exist the old town, so we had to climb about 400 steps/degrees to get to the room. It was to bad :\ To near supermarket was 200 steps climbing from the room. Good place but to far!

Liked: The property was situated in the best part of the old town of Split and 300m from where all the restaurants and bars are situated. There was a king size bed and everything that we needed for an extremely reasonable price. We were fetched from a central point and shown to our house - we were staying separate from the owners so we did not see them and had a lot of privacy. It was a wonderful stay and would recommend it to anyone. If every guesthouse was like this it would be amazing.

Disliked: Nothing!

Liked: This place has everthing you could need. About 15-20 minutes walk from Old town. Rooms are nice and tidy and Maria was very helpful with things to see and do. Fridge in the room was an added benefit especially in this heat. I would stay again.

Disliked: The only downfall is the stairs walking back up but we were aware of this when we booked.

Liked: Marija speaks good english and she is extremely helpful. There is free transport from the bus station to her house. When we arrived, her parents-in-law offered us drinks and biscuits and she recommended places for us to go. They are very helpful and takes good care of us. Every morning, Neda (Marija's mother -in-law) asks us if we need any drinks. Even though there was no breakfast, you can request for drinks and they gave us biscuits. Neda even offered watermelon on one of the nights when we were just sitting at the nice terrace. The house is very clean too. Nice and relaxing atmosphere.

Disliked: Probably the location. After reading on the number of steps I have to climb up on my way back, we took a bus every night. The bus ride was about 15-20 minutes. Walking to the old town was not a problem, only 15 minutes away. But their hospitality and quality of stay was worth it even though the location was not perfect.

Liked: lovely family , we got lost driving in so we called maria and they came to meet us! lovely house very clean big bedrooms gave us cold drinks and coffee in the morning balcony was lovely perfect for budget couples. quiet at night , great views nice balcony. also the information maria gave us at the start of the stay very helpfull and the lift to the airport was reasonable price thanks guys!

Disliked: cant say anything negative it was a really good place for us to stay was a little worried about the stairs reading all the reviews i wont lie there is heaps but its quite a nice walk after stuffing your face with ice3 cream and pizza all day. you need to have a mod level of fitness to stay hear! but accomm for the price def worth the climb

Liked: Really welcoming family. Greeted us with coffee and juice on arrival!

Disliked: Sometimes the family was a little noisy early in the mornings but I don't think they are aware of the echo in the hallway outside the rooms!

Liked: Neda was so kind and generous even if she does not speak much English. There is a pick up and drop off service which is practical because the accommodation is quite further out of Dubrovnik. Room and bathroom is very clean.

Disliked: Customer left no negative feedback.
