Liked: Very nice place however it was a bit difficult to find it, so would recommend to give a call to the owner before arrival. Super friendly atmosphere, nice terrace, clean rooms - we were welcomed with fresh juice and grapes. It is quite high up (you need to climb up some 15 minutes from the old town), might be difficult for travelers with kids. Otherwise I recommend.

Liked: Marija was very helpful and helped us out of a sticky situation when our holiday plans could not be followed. However, even though it loks close to old town on the map it took us 30 minutes to get into the city walls from the guesthouse and the night we walked back it took us 50 minutes as there are HUNDREDS of steps to climb. Every night since we took a taxi back to save the walk

Liked: We were picked up free of charge at the bus station. On arrival Marija welcomed us, showed us around and sat with us and showed us how to get around the city and recommended things for us to do depending on what we wanted to get out of the trip. Neda (her mother-in-law), her husband and Marija all make you feel at home. Old town is 15mins walk and you can get a bus back (recommended as there are quite a few steps on the way back!). The rooms and bathrooms are spotless and you can use the kitchen. They also offer a very reasonably priced transfer to the airport, suited around you.

Liked: This hostel was situated above the old town so you need to be prepared to walk a lot of stairs but its a good way to keep fit. Neda doesn't speak much English but she really does what she can to make your stay nice and her daughter in law Maria speaks English and guides you through what you need to know. They also offer a free pick up from the bus station which was wonderful to have.

Liked: Marija (the host) was awesome! As soon as we got there she had some wafers and orange juice waiting for us. She gave us a map and explained on it where go to and where to eat. My friend & I had made a mistake for our next hostel and Marija called for us explaining to them what happened in Croatian. This is a great place with great staff :) I will def. recommend this place to anyone. one hint don't walk to the guesthouse when u first arrive make sure to take a taxi. It is very complicated until you get a proper map like the one that Marija gave us.

Liked: The host Marija is AWESOMEEE, free ride from the bus station, VERY WELCOMING when we arrive with drinks, information about Dubrovnik, any questions you have, she will answer. She speaks fluent English and is very accommodating. She even gave us a homemade cherry raki mix they make on their own and it was DELICIOUS. The place was very clean, the location was a 10 min. walk to Old town, if you want to do anything else (like scuba diving) she can call for you and accommodate your needs. We even got to shower after scuba diving when we already checked out after our one night stay. Should've stayed longer! I definitely recommend booking this place, Thank you Marija!! We'll definitely come back to Dubrovnik one day and stay again.

Liked: The people who hosted (satff) us were very helpful, nice and friendly. They made us feel like home.This is a perfect value for the money. I would recommend for anyone except disabled or elderly. You need to walk and climb stairs. I like to exercise, anyway, so it was not a problem for me.

Liked: Marija, who helps Neda speaks a very good english and can give you helpful tips. The transfer from the airport they propose is also convenient. Overall, it's not a five stars hotel, but it has what is needed and the people are very nice and welcoming.

Liked: The family are extremely welcoming,helpful and knowledgeable about the services, excursions, e.t.c. on offer. The rooms are very clean. The walk into the old town takes 15mins with a supermarket on the way. Would definitely recommend this hostel.

Liked: Neda's guesthouse is amazing! Her and her daughter in law, Maria are the friendliest family we have stayed with. An amazing breakfast, a beautiful patio to chill out in, clean bathrooms and spacious rooms. SO FRIENDLY and welcoming!!!

Liked: i loved everything. the lady, neda, was just the sweetest thing. we had a free pick-up from the bus station and neda's husband was so patient and waited for us in the cold weather even though our bus came 1 hour late. super value for money, and when you go up just a couple of flights of stairs, you can see the whole city - awesome especially during sunset...

Liked: It was so nice to arrive in Croatia, and be welcomed by Maria. She sent her brother to collect us from the airport, and her mum made us breakfast and coffee in the mornings. She wanted us to feel at home, and we did! Lots of helpful advice, maps etc and when we needed help later in the holiday I didn't hesitate to pick up the phone to her. We were all very grateful for the clean, comfy rooms, the lovely peaceful terrace, but mostly the friendly people who run this place. I'd definitely recommend Neda's to anyone arriving in Dubrovnik.

Liked: This was a lovely little place to stay at in Dubrovnik. The hostel owners' Mum picked us up from the airport and soon as we got there, Marija, the owner, sat us down with some cakes and juice and pointed out all the interesting places to visit on a map,recommended the best times to go, and some good restaurants. A lovely reception to be met with, and we got some really handy tips that we wouldn't have known otherwise (try to walk the city wall after 4pm, and not on a weekend - they will be less busy as all the tour groups which clog up the wall will have left, and at 4pm it will not be too hot on the wall). The rooms were fresh & clean, as was the bathroom, and the hostel is a 20 min walk to the old town. The walk there and back involves a lot of steps, but not hard work.I would definitely recommend this place to stay at - you don't get a lovely local feel and welcome like this at hotels!

Liked: This is really a room in a home quite a bit away from the old town. The hosts are lovely and it is relatively easy to get around on the bus. We enjoyed our stay here - I would recommend it for those who dont mind being a bit out of the action and want a quiet nights sleep
