Customer reviewThe family that run the hostel are super friendly and helpful. The kitchen needs some more dishes and pots and it needs a good scrubbing. The computers all work well, but sometimes the hot water runs out. All in all a very good stay in beautiful Dubrovnik. |

Stephan AulichI stayed at the Dubrovink Backpackers Club for three nights and had the most amazing time. The staff are friendly and helpful people who go out of their way to make sure you have a good stay. They also provided breakfast which I found to be uncommon during my travels in Eastern Europe. The owner even took me along fishing at the sea during his free time which was not part of the trips they promote. The location is the only thing that I would slightly nag about because of the amount of tourists in the buses, however the bus to the old city stops right out side the hostel door practically which makes it easy to get around . The hostel has all the facilities which are clean as well as an outside patio that overlooks the harbour (great view). Would like to say thanks again to the staff DBC and to all the amazing people I met there. Stephan from Berlin |

Customer reviewwe stayed at the dubrovnik backpackers after it was highly recommended to us. the family who run the hostel are very nice (so i feel horrible writing this, sorry guys) however they have let the place go. the bathroom was constantly dirty and flooded because of a leaking shower, the beds were very uncomfortable...i would actually even say painful with springs poking up everywhere, the bottom bunk is so low my friend hit her elbows when pulling the blanket up in the night, its ridiculous. the kitchen was tiny, dirty and full of old food that hadnt been cleaned out in weeks. our room was never locked and there are no lockers in the rooms and the door to the bedroom on the street. its really far away from old town and the best beaches so you need to get a bus in, which if you want to go out at night, is a massive hassle. one bonus...the lovely mumma makes a good breakfast in the morning. |

Larry MortimerThe hosts are great and helpful. The old town is about 15mins by bus from the hostel, approx.35min walk. Fun place with a good mix of people and the breakfast is a bonus. Being slightly residential, the local restrictions means there is no loud music allowed after 10pm. |

Bren HartnollDubrovnik Backpackers Club is one of the most unique and special places i have stayed in my travels and is a definite must for anyone looking for a charming, cozy and comfortable place to stay in Dubrovnik. Everyone who we spoke to staying at DBC all agreed that this place was different to any other hostel we had seen. Welcomed on arrival with delicious breakfast, coffee and a great overview of Dubrovnik, its highlights and history over a few shots of Rajka. The hosts are not only well informed, welcoming and friendly but give a good dose of 'mum and dad' care to have both well travelled backpackers and holidaymakers wistfully thinking of home! Despite its location (bout ten minutes on bus from old town - easy) I would not hesitate in reccommending the Dubrovnik Backpackers Club to anyone staying in Dubrovnik as it was recommended to me. Fantastic stay and hospitality was much appreciated!! Look forward to staying with DB again!! |

Customer reviewGood place, but far away from everything. I walked back from the old town one night and it took me about 40 minitutes. So its best to take the bus. Good people there when we stayed, we went out every night and got maggot, but they dont like ya drinking at the hostel after 10 beacause of the neighbours. |

Simon HooksThe owner and her family are fantastic - they make you feel really at home and welcome you to Dubrovnik with snacks, drinks and some potent Croation alcohol! The home where you stay is a good location, easily accesible by public transport. It's also a great place to meet other travellers with a very "hostel in a family home" kind of vibe. The free breakfasts are particularly great! |

Brayden CampbellLovely family run hostel who make every effort to make your stay in Dubrovnik enjoyable. If you want to party however, you need to move it out of the hostel after 10 |
