Danica was so lovely and helpful. The rooms were spotlessly clean with a fantastic view over the harbour and the port. Watch out for the steps! We didnt know this, but Danica will pick you up when you arrive in Dubrovnik if you ring her mobile.

They are the most friendly family, who welcome you more like old friends than anything else. The view from the balcony across the bay is absolutely beautiful. The most comfortable stay of our travels, would recommend it to seasonned travellers and those who want a bit more comfort - certainly better than the hotels we stayed in!

GREAT LOCATION, VERY CLEAN BUT ABIVE ALL THE FRIENDLINESS OF DANICA AND HER DAUGHTER WAS OVERWHELMING, THEY BOUGHT A BIRTHDAY PRESSIE FOR US BOTH AND MADE LUNCH FOR US AT NO EXTRA COST, JUST LOVELY PEOPLE. ABSOLUTELY FAULTLESS

Danica and her family were fabulous! A perfect place to be based see Dubrovnik and environs. They provided ALL information needed - were to sun-bathe and swim, to shop and dine, how to get to nearby the islands and to see the sights. Great hospitality! They treated us like family.

staying with Danica and Maria was such a wonderful experience - they helped us when we needed it but but gave us our independence too. the sunsets were amazing!!

The owner and her daughter really invited us into their home, we had a wonderful time with them. The location is great with a wonderful view, we highly reccommend it, a great value.

Danica collected us at the wharf and later drove us to the airport. We paid a fair price as it was early in the morning. Great view from large balcony. Easy and scenic walk to Dubrovnik. Danica cooked us a lovely dinner. A larger supply of loo paper in the toilet would be a good idea. Not a good thing to run out of.

Danica and Maria were very welcoming and did everything to make us feel at home. They were full of practical knowledge and tips about the area and Danica even took the trouble to cook us authentic Croatian food.

The owners were so friendly and generous. They made us meals and treated us like members of the family.

Danica herself made me exceptionally welcome and I felt totally at ease with her. She was an excellent host and I felt that my possessions were very safe. Danica also took me to the station the next day, going out of her way!

This was by far the best and most welcoming hostel we stayed in during our trip. Although it was a little bit further to the old town the buses were really cheap and frequent and it was a really good location for the harbour. A brilliant family atmosphere with loads of helpful hints for trips and sightseeing.

Danca and her daughter were extremely pleasant and helpful to us during our stay. They told us what the bus schedule was, things to do in and around Dubrovnik, and even dropped us off at the main bus station when it was time to depart. The view is absolutely amazing and we had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend this place to all travellers.

Danica and her daughter Marija are simply marvellous hosts. They are very warm and friendly, and really make you feel at home. We stayed 4 nights at her place, she made us coffee every morning and evening and even invited us for lunch one day. The view from her balcony is simply fantastic, we took a lot of pix of the Gruz harbour and the sunset of Dubrovnik. We will definitely visit Marija and Danica again

I knew the comments about Danka and Maria were good but in real life they are even lovelier. They made us feel very at home and we had a lovely time with them. I would absolutely recommend them.

It's not a hostel, it's somebody's home. What I liked about it were the people who owned it...genuine, kind and helpful people. Also, a great view from the balcony, and convenient for everything I wanted. I would definitely stay there again.
