World-class friendliness and attention to guests ! Even though it's a ways from tonw, the bus is convenient and easy and takes you directly to the main gate to Old Town. Danica is fabulous !!!

Danica and Maria were more than helpful and very welcoming and caring. Helped us get around Dubrovnik and on to Korcula. The question re meeting people and partying was not important for us. wewanted a quiet place and that is what we got.

Our hosts were extremely friendly and helpful, willing to chat about life in Dubrovnik and were so hospitable we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The owner and her family were extraordinarily friendly and helpful and made us feel right at home. The view from the hostel rooms is stunning and access to the sights of the town is direct and easy.

The people at the Guesthouse were very friendly, helpful and gave us many informations and pieces of advise for our stay in Dubrovnik.There was a very pleasant familiar atmosphere.In all my boyfriend and I enjoy the time at Danica´s Guesthouse very much!!!

The owner Danka and her Daughter Maria were lovely. We ended up returning to their house for our final four nights because we felt so welcome and relaxed.

We had a brilliant time with Danka and her daughter Maria. They were so welcoming and helpful that I would recommend anyone to go and stay with them. The house is high above the port with excellent views and just a short bus ride to the old town. Staying with Danka really made our stay in Dubrovnik because we got to hear about the Coatian culture and history first hand and were made to feel at home from the moment Maria met us at the airport.

We spend there lovely tiime , they even made a dinner for us which was really good. Danica and her daughter were very friendly. We had everything what we need in there and we recommned this hostel to everyone.

Danka and Maria were wondeful and couldn't do enough for us. Collected us on ariival from port and took us to the airport on departure. Coffee and biscuits on arrival and every morning! Clean, tidy and extremely friendly. Was a bit of a climb from the old town, but the stunning views from the rooms, made this more than worthwhile and the cheap, regular bus service stops just outside the door so really isn't an issue.

Maria and Danica were both very friendly and really helpful with information about buses, transfers, etc. It is a wee way from the city; however, it is well serviced by buses. Plus, the view from the balcony was amazing.

6 of us stayed at Danica's house for 5 nights and were made to feel very comfortable , Danica and her daughter Maria picked us up from the ferry port on arrival and dropped us off on departure , they were especially kind to our 2 chrildren who were made to feel apart of the family. the extre little touches made all the difference. To over look staying with this family would be unfortunate for any traveller hoping to really expierence family life in Dubrovnik.

The staff were very helpful, it has a beatiful view from the balcony, and you get a good workout going up the stairs from town.

In three months of travelling this was, without a doubt, the best place we stayed. Danica and her family were fabulous, the house was spotless and more like a five star hotel and it was conveniently located only 5 minutes bus ride from the old town. We were given coffee, juice and biscuits...and the view from the balcony was stunning. In two words - absolutely brilliant!!!!!!

Danica was extremely friendly and welcoming. The location was perfect, top of the hill over looking Gruz port and only a ten minute walk from the main bus station. Although we didn't have to walk as Danica told us exactly what bus to get and at what time for any location in Dubrovnik. It is the ideal place for a couple who want a relaxing night.
