Really friendly people who are willing to do anything to help you out. Provided us with maps and circled good places to eat. Made us feel right at home. Private rooms with privacy, big comfy beds and safe.

Best place I've stayed in! The Mum and daughter are THE NICEST people on earth and treated me like a king. Cooked cleaned and took me out. Worth staying here for sure

Danica and her daughter were so kind and welcoming! they made us feel a part of their family and even asked us to join their sunday lunch! from the minute we arrived until we left we loved our stay and would definately go back again! just make sure u let danica lift you from the bus or get a taxi- do not attempt to climb the steps with your rucksacks like we did, we thought we were going to die!!!

Danica and Maria were extremely welcoming and helpful, and made our stay very pleasant. We arrived quite late at night, but were given dinner, and even told off for not ringing them to be collected from the airport! Maria gave us lots of good advice about what to se and do, and what buses to take to get around the city.

Hostel owners are so friendly and helpfull, they even give you a lot information about the town and places to go. Hostel has a big balcony with very impressive view of Dubrovnik.

This hostel is simply GREAT! The owner danica and her daughter Maria are soooooo friendly. Although we are just staying there for 1 night, we indeed feel like home there. And we just left our luggage in the room without locking. Everything was great, its clean, nicely decorated and its balcony was just SUPERB!
And I actually became friend with Maria. It's not simply a hostel, I would prefer staying there rather than a 5-star hotel.
As our bus arrives 1 hour late, Danica actually goes to the bus station twice to pick us up. And she helped us buy bus tickets and everything. And as we are leaving their hostel for an overnight bus to Zagreb. Without even asking, Danica said it's no problem to take a shower before we left. You know these simple things are important to travellers who are always on the road.
A thing to remind those who are going, you may consider taking the bus up there instead of climbing the stairs uphill. It's quite a climb wiht a heavy backpack in mid-day when the sun is blazing. But then everything is worth it!!!

Out of all the places we stayed i Croatia this was def the best, the owner is lovely, friendly and very accomodating, every room has a gorgeous view of the sea and it was def value for money. You have to get a bus to the old town but it only take about 20 minutes.

Danica and Maria are exceptionally warm, kind and helpful. I felt at home soon after I arrived. While trying to help, they were not intrusive. The balcony attached to the room offers breath-taking view. It was an unforgettable exprience to have cold drink and snacks on the balcony, while talking with Danica and enjoying the beautiful view at the same time.

This is by far the best hostel I have ever stayed in.. Danica really makes you feel welcome and achieves her desire to make the guests feel part of the family.
I highly recommend this accommodation to anybody staying in Dubrovnik.

Danke was wonderful. She and her daughter (Marija)are so friendly and helpful. They do so much for you - its like being waited on in a 5 star hotel - they wont let you lift a finger. They made my stay truly great.
The hostel is about a 15 min bus ride from old town or alternatively you can easily walk down the stairs (5mins) to main street of modern Dubrovnik.
A great place to stay - I strongly recommend it.

Danika and her daughter Maria were very friendly and gave us free transfers from the port and bus station. They both spoke very good english. They also gave us excellent information on Dubrovnik. Fabulous views of Dubrovnik harbour.

Fantastic guesthouse...lovely people who own and manage the place. Specacular views over harbour. It is a great place to stay and i would strongly recommend you take up the offer of an airport transfer as it is very difficult to find but once you know where it is it is very easy to get to and bus no 3 right outside (costs the same as taking the bus and a cab anyway). Really enjoyed our stay the room was huge and comfy beds aswell. Thanks so much for making our stay in Dubrovnick great!

1. Danika and her daughter. They were not only friedley and helpful; they provided a relaxed, comfortable and homey atmosphere.
2. Location. The view from the balconey is superb and we were glad we chose to stay outside of the old town. Its great to visit but you don't want to sleep there. Then there are the stairs. We never did manage to catch the #3 bus that goes on the road above the guest house, but we actually got to like the climb up the stairs (we are exercise junkies though).
3. Food and drink. Danika always puts out snacks and deserts and went out of her way to make American style coffe for me (I supplied the coffee and filters).

We have never experienced such warm, welcoming and kind hospitality in all our travels. Danke and Maria went out of their way consistently to ensure we were comfortable, familiar with the area and had things to do, picked us up from the station for no cost and created a homely environment.

Only a cheap bus ride from Old Town, located away from the hustle & bustle, but with SPECTACULAR views over Gruz harbour. Really lovely place to catch a sunset from. Hosts made us feel at home and it was easy to chat with other guests.

Danica and her daughter were so lovely to us throughout our stay. It was the most friendly hostel I have ever stayed in. Anything we needed to know or asked about Dubrovnik was told to us by both of them in a very helpful and informative way. We felt looked after from the second we met at the airport until we were dropped back at the airport by Danika. I highly reccomend this as a place to stay in Dubrovnik. It is a little way from the old town... but it has a fantastic view!
