Liked: nina was extremely friendly,helpful and hospitible.also her cakes were amazing.the property had a lovely view of the harbour and was very peaceful.

Disliked: tamsin left no negative feedback.

Liked: The staff were a very helpful, especially the young man who collected us from the, (wrong; thank you Mr. Airport Bus Driver), bus station, after they had sent me a text on arrival. He gave us a lot of local information which turned out to be absolutely spot-on. The room was very clean & the view fantastic, although please note this was because the hostel is so far up the mountain side... Bathroom was enormous & clean.

Disliked: The location. Be prepared for a bit of a walk. Vertically.

Liked: Nina and her husband was really friendly, offered us a welcome drink and told everything to know about the city for a 1 night stay. Two of us stayed in the neighborhood at one of Nina's friends, she was also really nice and had a clean house with nice panorama.

Disliked: It is a long walk from the Old City (half an hour).

Liked: very good installations, very professional, very friendly, really good! nina helps you in all you need. She offers services like brealfast or get to you to the airport (25Km, from dubrovnik)

Disliked: the house is at the high of the city, and in summer, with a very hot weather in dubvrovnik, it's hard to come back to the house.

Liked: I liked how she offered to pick us up and I also liked the feel of staying with your grandma.

Disliked: As arrogant as it sounds, it was difficult to communicate in either English or German. Breakfast was not offered or even mentioned. It was unbelievably hot and there was no fan offered or mentioned.

Liked: The landlady offered car ride though it is not free of charge.

Disliked: far away from the old town, the stairs are inconvenient for travellers.

Liked: Good value for the place and Nina is really helpful. We enjoyed our stay. But not quite close to the beaches if you are in Dubrovnik for not only sightseeing.

Disliked: No kitchen

Liked: Nina and her family are very friendly. They pick you up for free from bus station. Her house is up to the hill (as everything in Croatia!) and it's 25 min walk from the Stari Grad (old city) and it's a very lovely walk. Dubrovnik is a wonderful city and I definitely recommend Nina for staying there!

Liked: very friendly owner-family. A nice house with spacious and clean rooms.

Disliked: a bit far away from the city centre, a good walk up and down the hills of Dubrovnik (a good half an hour), but there are frequently going busses nearby.

Liked: Clean with a great view

Disliked: Long uphill walk from the old town - but expected as a great price (However the number 8 and 3 buss is inly 10Kuna so no problem really)

Liked: Nina is exceptionally knowledgeable and helpful. The location sets the property a little way from the old town and lapad but this has it's positives being in a much more peaceful area.

Disliked: Not the easiest place to find, but Nina will come and pick you up from the bus or ferry terminal.

Liked: Very helpful staff, very comfy bed and a good shower.

Disliked: Location little far from centre but not by much just walking uphill was a little labourious. Although this would be the case anywhere in Dubrovnik as other than the old town everywhere is generally uphill.

Liked: The view was wonderful. Nina and her family were hospitable, and Nina and her son picked us up at the bus station and drove us to the hostal, which was welcome because it is a long walk up the hill and would have been very difficult to find. The rooms are basic but clean, and the bathrroms are kept clean. There's outside sitting areas where guests mingle, which was enjoyable. Noise at night was not a problem.

Disliked: The only downside is the long uphill walk to the hostal. It's tolerable if you're not carrying anything, but even a bag of groceries becomes heavy climbing the many stairs. Descending is less bothersome.

Liked: Nina is very helpful and knowledgeable and picked us up from the ferry for free.

Disliked: The hill to get to the hotel.

Liked: Ferry pick up, bedroom was spacious and bathroom was good, Nina was very friendly and helped us in any way she could

Disliked: A bit of a hike to get there, as with many places in Dubrovnik. Not close to Old Town (3 bus stops) but we were aware of this when booking

Liked: Nina and especially her daughter, Inga (we mostly dealt with her) were both very kind and helpful. The property was clean, and well kept. There's a nearby pizzeria called La Luna that has the best pizza ever, and they have Wi-Fi (since Nina's place doesn't) or you can use the managers pizza - they're really nice too!

Disliked: You should just be aware - there is no air conditioning (which kinda sucks during high season), 3/4 of the rooms have shared washrooms, and there's 1 fridge in the top floor hallway for everyone to share. The place is also located quite far away from anything (except La Luna of course) - it's more like a 45 min. walk to downtown core. And it's a lot of walking up and down ramps and stairs. Nina's place is on the side of the mountain.

Liked: Nina is incredibly nice! We arrived at 6 am, and she picked us up at the bus station, and let us shower, even though our room wasn't ready yet. It's about a 20-30 minute walk to the old town.

Disliked: It's on top of a hill! Walking back wasn't fun, but there are two buses that go close by, or you can take a taxi (only 60 kuna).

Liked: The owner met us at the bus station, drove us to the apartment, and gave us a map of the city. Very friendly!
