Liked: location is convenient, the place is clean, the owner is very friendly, the breakfast (continental type) is hearty.

Disliked: no double glazed window (so you hear a litlle bit of the traffic)

Liked: The guesthouse is in a great location & the owners are very friendly. We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend staying here

Liked: Marija was great. Very friendly and she made us cake to take with us on our last day! The location was spot on. We had no difficulties finding the apartment which was close to the beach and the old town. It is a bit of a killer walking up 4 flights of stairs to get the apartment but everything else was so good it would be a shame to let this put you off. We couldn't believe how good our view of the old town was and this was the first place we stayed at, in Croatia, where the towels were bigger than hand towels!

Disliked: The stairs - but they weren't that bad!

Liked: Everything was excellent! First of all, the hostess - Marija. She's very nice person and really helpful. We came early in the morning and her husband met us at the bus station. Then she prepared a breakfast for us everyday. And if we need something she always gave it to us. Secondly, the location. We live near Old town - just 1 minute walk. And we saw it from our window. Eventually, the accommodation. The room is clean, well equipped and has all necessary things. So it's the best option to stay in Dubrovnik!

Liked: absolutely lovely lady,so helpful.location couldn't be better,right beside a class beach,great mexican restaurant,nightclub and city gates.seaview as well! apartment was clean,and laundry services available.the room was spacious and had air con,plus a t.v,and stereo.definitely worth visiting

Liked: This guesthouse is in such a fantastic location with amazing views of the city walls and old town. Our room had everything we needed including wifi and much needed air-con. Marija was great, she made sure we had all the information we needed and even sent us on our way with some home made apple cake.

Disliked: We had a little trouble figuring out how to find it although the locals pointed us in the right direction.

Liked: Very very clean, very very close to the old city and the nice big beach. The room was quite big, air-conditioning etc - everything you need really. Lovely family, especially Marija who you see most - always providing info/advice. Would definitely recommend it.

Disliked: There are quite a few steps up to the apartment so if steps are an issue for you then it might be tricky, that being said the whole of Dubrovnik is steps and cobbles anyway!!

Liked: Good location. The family are very helpful and friendly.

Disliked: A bit hard to find at first. Also, at the top of buidling, so if you don't like climbing up lots of stairs, best to stay elsewhere.

Liked: The location was fantastic, directly outside the Ploce gate, which is much quieter that the main (Pile) gate; close to a lovely local beach and easy to reach via public transport. The rooms were big enough, clean and had good air-conditioning, which is a must during summer in Dubrovnik because it is hot and humid. The owner (Marija) is lovely and very personable. She set out breakfast for us each morning so that it was waiting for us when we woke up.

Disliked: It's on the 4th floor, so getting up and down the steps is a good workout. However, dont let this dissuade you - there are steps everywhere in Dubrovnik; you end up with strong legs at the end of your stay no matter where you are! Also, the directions were a little confusing but we found it in the end. The property is between Cantina Mexicana and the other place mentioned on the web, but it's practically on the same street (on the corner of Pud Od Bosanka or whatever it's called...which is not a street but a wide pedestrian lane of steps).

Liked: The welcome from the owners was lovely - it was great to be able to chat to a real Croatian family, and to be offered cake, melon and ice cream throughout our stay. The room was clean and bright, with a good bathroom - but best of all was the view - over the whole town walls. Also a good location, near the beach, the Old Town and the cable car station.

Liked: The owners of the guesthoure are especially friendly and helpful. The location is very good, just couple of minutes to the main bach and Dubrovnik old town. The room was quite big and very clean.

Disliked: It was not very easy to find because there was not a sign on the house or the gate.

Liked: Amazing place. Maria was always so happy to help - she made us cake and gave us icrecream. The room was immaculate and her husband was even so kind to drive us to the bus station! The position was perfect- right next to the old town but not too high up. We loved our stay here and would reccomend it to everyone!

Liked: This was a great hostel. We were very welcomed there, it was in a great spot only 1 minute from the old town and 3 min from the beach. The room was very clean and spacious and with a wonderful breakfast everyday. It was the best place we have stayed in, in Europe.

Liked: Maria was a fantastic host. She went out of her way to help us. The guesthouse must be in just about the best location in Dubrovnik. Our room was large and clean and had a wonderful view.

Liked: The entire family was very helpful. Location was excellent. I'd go back!! VeryClean, Great view of Wall,Old City.& Sea Breathtaking-views!!! Great Value. Nick Stiglich- Chesterton,Indiana!!

Disliked: There are 107 steps to climb which was not problem for 6 adults in our family. We would go back!!! PS : No one complained or wined the view was well-worth post-card climb!!

Liked: Instantly fell in love with the property - it felt like a home away from home! The hosts were extremely welcoming and helpful and warm. She even baked us a cake for breakfast and constantly busied herself with ensuring that we were comfortable. You HAVE TO STAY here if you visit dubrovnik! Oh! and the views from the room windows are beautiful, looking over the old city!

Liked: The best thing about this property was Marija and her daughter, who were both lovely and welcoming and eager to meet any needs. Marija cooked the best apple cake we have ever tasted and was helpful and interested in our days in Dubrovnik. The room was nice and clean and even had a washing machine and air con. Marija provided breakfast which was lovely. The view from the window of old town was nice too.

Disliked: We didn't dislike anything - but for other travellers note the apartment is on the third floor without lifts so if you have a lot of luggage it could be difficult. The wifi wasn't working for us but Marija let us use her computer. If you want a big hostel where you can meet other travellers I would book elsewhere as there are only two guestrooms, but if you want privacy and quiteness this is a good option for you!
