Liked: It has a great location, inside the castle walls and near many cafes and local bars. Anne was very nice and let us leave our luggage in the room before we left for our next destination.

Liked: GREAT location, wonderful staff, adorable room with a good bed. Really central, staying in a real Dubrovnik apartment a bit off the tourist trail. Plus for the great Vegetarian restaurant just down the block...!

Disliked: It's a bit steep going up there, just so that you are aware. However, I guess this goes for any accommodation in the old town.

Liked: The rooms are perfectly located, extremely homely and clean. Ane is incredibly friendly, and my only regret is that I wasnt able to stay longer!

Disliked: No air con so prepare for a sweaty night! There is a fan so normally should be okay but it was very humid when we were there

Liked: Dubrovnik Old Town Anne was great. Perfect located within the Old Town of Dubrovnik. About 100 steps upward from the main street "Stradum". Mrs. Jarak was very friendly, helpful and solicitous. We enjoyed our stay very much. Everything was cleaned up and perfectly prepared for the overnight stays. Everything you need for a city trip to Dubrovnik and the surrounding area. We spent the whole day on the road and came back to a relaxed, small accommondation whre we had a rest for the next day. To recommend in any case if you are not looking for a luxury holiday in a hotel...

Disliked: Everything was fine.

Liked: The owner is lovely and very helpful - even found us a safe place to drop our bikes!

Disliked: Would't recommend the place if you travel by pushbike - like we did - because the steps to the property are really steep.

Liked: great location allows to walk and enjoy old city night. The room doesn't have air conditioner, bud I could sleep comfort (bit hot) in mid August.

Disliked: To climb up to steps from main street to get to the apartment with big suitcase.

Liked: Ane is such a sweet lady and helpful in all respects. The hostel is so close to the main pedestrian thoroughfare within the walls that it makes your stay completely stress free. The bus from the airport was only 5 euros per person and it dropped us off just outside the old town walls. We just walked in the gate and our street was the third on the left...couldn't have been easier.

Disliked: The ONLY thing I can say I disliked was the stairs leading up to the hostel doors. And I only mention this because there is nothing else to mention. The stairs are not a problem to walk up and down multiple times per day if you are in any kind of shape. The only time it was tiring was with our bags the first night...but seriously, it's about 50 steps...it takes about two minutes, tops. Given the awesome location, I wouldn't have complained if there were twice as many steps.

Liked: Ane was so helpful with everything! One of our bags got lost and she was always offering to call the airport for us, or help us out in any way possible. The location was amazing, in the perfect spot within the old town walls. Rooms were nice and clean. Great value for money seen as though everything else in Dubrovnik is expensive. Would highly recommend anyone to stay here.

Liked: Such a great stay! Couldn't fault the location, and Anna was friendly and helpful. Tidy, comfortable rooms and simple but clean bathroom. Would recommend it to everyone - such good value for money, right in the heart of the Old Town. Fabulous.

Liked: The rooms are located in the old town itself and are only a flight of stairs away from the main avenue. The place is quiet and the sharing of the bathroom with just another couple wasn't a problem at all.

Disliked: The room was ok but quite small and with no particular charm, but it's a backpackers place, so that's fine.

Liked: Ana the owner was very welcoming and it was spotless! She even cleaned the bathroom in between guests using it! It was also in a great location near enough to the sites but far enough away that you didnt suffer with noise.

Disliked: The room was small and a little cramped.

Liked: Old Town Anne Rooms were just as we had hoped - clean and very pleasant in a fantastic location. Our room was spacious and spotless and had plenty of storage space etc and a lovely comfy double bed. The bathroom was also spotless and we had plenty of towels etc. Anne was very friendly indeed and helpful, but did not keep disturbing us, which was great! The house is on a very quaint street just off the main pedestrian street of the old town. Considering this place is within the old town walls, I don't think the price was too bad. The road itself is quiet enough and although the bathroom is shared, it's only between 2 rooms.

Disliked: The many steps up to it are hard in the heat, but a small price to pay for a top location!

Liked: Excellent location in the heart of the old town. Anne is very friendly and provided directions to get from the ferry port. The twin room we stayed in was very small, but clean and did the job for two nights in the city. The shared bathroom was very clean and we had no problems sharing this with the other couple staying here.

Liked: Good location (the old town) however you need to climb old town's stair to get there (which is a bit tiring especially with heavy begs). Room is totally fine, with comfortable bed, satellite tv and table. No internet.Bathroom is also in good condition (towels included, hairdryer no). Unfortunately no kitchen which for me was major disappointment as Dubrovnik is an expensive city.Overall, decent place to stay for the weekend, but internet and kitchen would make it way better.

Liked: V friendly landlady, speaks good English. Even lent us a beach bag. And the location is unbeatable. Not good for socialising as just a couple of spare rooms in a house but this is similar to most private accomm on offer on Dalmatian coast, so you know what you're in for...
