Liked: We spent 2 very good nights in a room. The room and the shared bathroom were very clean and functional. The owners do not speak English but they were very kind and helpfull. I would go to this accomodation if I go back to Dubrovnik one day.

Disliked: Location is uphill not so close from the old town. Easy to access the Gruz harbor though.

Liked: No only was the area spacious and equipped with very useful appliances (a showerhead that isn't handheld--what a luxury! and a washing machine and mini-fridge), but the flat is owned by an unbelieveably sweet and accommodating elderly couple. They spoke almost no English, but were so helpful and friendly. We got lost and arrived after midnight, but they still offered us juice and made sure we were comfortable. It was a charming stay run by lovely people.

Disliked: The location is not terribly close to the Old Town or the beach, but it is a sweet little neighborhood filled with locals and good bakeries, so as long as you're willing to walk for a while to and from the hostel, the location isn't an issue. Dubrovnik is not large, so this isn't far from everything, but it is also definitely not central.

Liked: very friendly owners, large room and 2 bathrooms so sharing with another room was never a problem!

Disliked: it's pretty far from old town (25 min walk) but a short bus ride

Liked: They are very nice and very friendly. Everything is very clean, air condicioned in the room, etc. Very close (walking distance<10 min) to the port to go to the islands.

Disliked: It's not really near from the center. You need to take a bus (2 min from the house) and it takes you to the old town in less than 10 minutes.

Liked: Very relaxed, safe, authentic and clean atmosphere. The owners were incredibly nice and helpful (they came to pick us up at the bus station!!).It's not in the tourstic center so you get to see another side of Dubrovnik too. Two bakeries open 24h right near by! 15minute walk to the centre , 3 minutes by bus. DEFINTLEY WORTH IT!!

Disliked: Nothing. It was just slightly far away from the center but it was a nice opportunity to walk and enjoy not only touristy dubrvnik.

Liked: It liked that Ljuba was a really nice woman, and the feaking rooms! It was so cheap and we got a terrace. You feel very safe and it's not har to find at all. I would defenently go back.

Disliked: Nothing at all.

Liked: It was close to the a busstop and to a mini market and bakery. Our room had a small kitchen area and they a mashing machine in the bathroom. The room laid in the shade all day so it wasn't that warm.

Disliked: The bathroom was shared with the other room.

Liked: Really enjoyed our stay here, the family were really nice and picked us up from the bus station. About 15 minute walk from the Old Town and supermarket and bakeries close by. Very good value, rooms and facilities very clean.

Liked: It comes with a nice big bathroom, a decent-sized kitchen, air-con, and a comfy bed. It's also very good value for money.

Disliked: Ljuba, the lady who owns the property, is lovely but doesn't speak a word of English so that present something of a barrier, and while it may look well-located in relation to Gruz harbour (where you'll arrive if you're coming on a boat from any of the islands further north) you'll have to walk up set after set of very steep steps. We arrived on the ferry from Korcula at about 10 and had a hell of a job finding the place, which was worsened by the fact we got there at night. Be aware. It's also in the middle of nowhere so really you're probably better off trying to get somewhere nearer either Lapad or the old town to see the best of what Dubrovnik has to offer.

Liked: The property was very well maintained and clean. Situated very close to the bus station and Lapad, and a short bus ride from town, the location was also excellent. The couple running it were sweet and helpful, although we mainly used sign language and basic German to communicate. They offered us drinks and cake and picked us up from the bus station, all at no extra charge. A balcony overlooking the gardens was lovely to sit on in the afternoons and evenings, and the aircon was most welcome in the heat!

Liked: The owners don't speak English at all, but you can try Italian or Polish. They are very helpful and nice people. There was a free car park!!! The place is quite close to the old town (30 minutes walk or 10 minutes by bus). I trully recommend it!!!

Disliked: The only disadvantage was lac of air codnitioning.

Liked: large clean room within the 2 bedroom apartment (2 rooms rented out separately) therefore we had a kitchentte and shared bathroom. good wifi. lady that owns it was very friendly, even gave us free juice when we arrived all hot and bothered!

Disliked: sat tv did not work. no air con- however room was just about cool enough. location is ok, on a hill in gruz area therefore lots of steps to walk from bus station. bus number 8 goes to town and bus station from a street about 300m away.

Liked: Couple is nice, harldy English though but it wasn't an issue. Room was very large with tv. Everything was spotless. House is about a 20 min walk from old town and a ten min walk from grocery stores but most places available aren't in old town either. On a hill though fyi. Bus 8 takes you into town.

Liked: This apartment was great! There was a full kitchen, fridge and although the bathroom was shared it was a huge bathroom. They offer wifi internet and the owners are extremely friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend staying here if youre looking for good price outside the busy Stari Grad area

Liked: Even though the owners speak minimal english, they're extremely nice and friendly. Their daughter speaks good English and she's also usually there if you need anything. The place was clean and nice and secure.Its about half an hour walk to the old city, which means its really peaceful and quiet, I'd recommend it to couples more than single travelers. We had a very pleasant stay there.

Liked: Great hostel with confortable and large rooms. The guests are very friendly. Only disadvantage: it is 30 minutes walk from Old City, but you can easily reach it with bus line n°8.
