Villa is situated on the peninsula of Lapad, the most beautiful part of Dubrovnik. The surrounding Mediterranean sub-tropic vegetation enables you to enjoy almost perfect peace and natural beauty. The Villa is near to the sandy beach of Sumratin and a promenade where it is pleasant to take a walk, either if it is hot during the summer or during the mild winter. The distance from the Old Town is approximately 2 km, so it is easily accessible by foot or car. In addition, the public transportation service is accessible from the bus stop near our villa. We have a supermarket next to the hostel were you can buy your food and beer at a cheap price and save a lot of money on your trip
Villa Micika is open year-round, with first class rooms all with TV/SAT, ventilator, refrigerator in lobby, shower-bath and toilet. All our private rooms have Air Condition - Extra charge 10 EUR per day. We have shared mixed rooms, 3-bed female dorm, 3-bed male dorm and five 2-bed private rooms and one mixed dorm room with four beds TV/SAT, fridge all with private shower bath. The price includes all utility costs (water/electricity), bed linen, towels, personal locker and final clean-up. It also includes a tourist tax and 22% VAT. Please note that payment on arrival is in Cash. We do not accept Credit Cards!
If you are coming to Dubrovnik for a conference, we are only a 10-minute walk to the Hotel Dubrovnik Palace and Hotel President Dubrovnik convention centre and we are a 5-minute drive to the Hotel Hilton Imperial, Grand Villa Argentina and Excelsior convention Centre.

The Old City and attractions
Founded 1300 years ago, Dubrovnik's appeal lies in the old town of Stari Grad, with its marble-paved squares, steep cobbled streets, tall houses, convents, churches, palaces, fountains and museums, all cut from the same light-colored stone. The intact city walls keep motorists at bay, and the town has an agreeable climate and lush vegetation, due to its location at the southern end of the country's Adriatic coast.
Although Dubrovnik was heavily shelled in 1991, it has been largely restored - recent travelers have even reported that Dubrovnik looks better than it did before the war, particularly as the tourist hordes have not yet returned. The Placa, Dubrovnik's wonderful pedestrian promenade, runs from the city bus stop outside Pile Gate to the clock tower at the other end of town. Just inside the Pile Gate, the Franciscan Monastery houses a pharmacy, which has been operating since 1391.
At the other end of the Placa stand St Blaise's Church, a lovely Italian baroque building, and the Gothic Rector's Palace, built in 1441. The palace is now a museum with furnished rooms, baroque paintings and historical exhibits. Opposite is a bustling morning market.
Dubrovnik’s city walls were built between the 13th and 16th centuries, and are still intact today. Arguably the finest city walls in the world, they are over 2km (1.2mi) long and 25m (82ft) high, with 16 towers. You cannot beat the view from here, and a walk along the walls will probably be the highlight of your visit to Dubrovnik. If you feel like a spell in the sun, you could stretch out on Dubrovnik's city beaches, but a better bet is to take the ferry to Lokrum Island. This island is a national park, with a rocky nudist beach, a botanical garden and the ruins of a medieval Benedictine monastery
