Liked: Location right next to port, very friendly and helpful staff, shared kitchen with free milk, sugar & coffee, ok breakfasts, comfy air con apts which were cleaned every day.

Disliked: Short (crowded) bus trip to old town. Not much to do in immediate area, but a few good restaurants. Can't fault the property itself

Liked: nice stuff, well situated close to the harbour and the bus stops to the city centre. Air conditioning in the rooms was a dream

Disliked: nothing special, just that the wifi connection in the rooms was extremely weak

Liked: If you need to take a boat to see the islands, this is a perfect location, as the hotel is just just across the street.

Disliked: The room was quite small and the decoration old fashioned. We asked if shampoo and shower gel were provided for free, and they confirmed they were. But when we arrived, we only found shower gel in the bathroom. The owner tried to make us believe that it was a "2 in 1" shower gel / shampoo...

Liked: In french : une adresse très agréable (lieu récemment rénové [un bar-restaurant devait ouvrir ses portes 2 jours après notre passage], chambre climatisée et munie d'un réfrigérateur, des hôtes disponibles et sympathiques) située à quelques pas de la vieille ville de Dubrovnik (10 minutes à pied permettant de se retrouver au calme) et face à l'embarcadère pour les îles (Mljet, Korcula...). Idéal pour un transition entre Dubrovnik et les îles (ce que nous avons fait) ou pour une pose de quelques jours.

Liked: The location is good the bus and ferry terminal are only a 5 minute walk and the bus to the old town only takes 10 minutes. Kristian the owner was very helpful and friendly

Disliked: Its not somewhere you would meet other travellers, although this may change once the restaurant is open

Liked: The owner Kristian is perfcet guy. He is so helpful and polite. His place was full for the follwing nights and he called 4-5 hotels and tried to find me accomadation (Dubrovnik was really overbooked those days). The hotel is 2 minutes to bus stop, location is safe and 10 minutes from centre by bus.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: -great location near Gruz harbour and next to bus station.(ideal to go to Lopud by boat )-place is getting refurbished so it can only get better-nice corner of Dubrovnik and not so crowded and expensive as Dubrovnik Old Town-quiet place

Disliked: -old TV on the room which was not working - rooms have an 80's design but very clean everything and functional

Liked: Very friendly and helpful staff; still renovating a bit, but place looks good. Apartments are a bit out dated, but clean. We had a great time there! The owner did help us to find our way around. Location is between the old centre and the popular beach location Lapad. Gayfriendly.

Liked: Great location right across from the ferry pier and a 5 minute walk/3 minute bus ride into the Old Town.Stayed in a private room which was cleaned every day and air conditioning was amazing. Mini fridge in room was great.Would stay here again.

Liked: The property was clean and sufficient for a two night stay - easy to get the bus into Dubrovnik for visiting the old city. However the location was very urban and we had trouble parking our car during our stay as the street outside is a metered area and very busy. However if you are travelling without a car the location is adequate for visiting old Dubrovnik and catching the local bus into town is only a 10 minute journey.

Liked: 10min (by bus) from the old town, very clean, the owners are very nice.the downs are, our room was near a bar and there was some noise... but nothing serous. When we arrived (around 23:00) the restaurant underneath was closed and I had to call the owner. that wasn't very good since I'd sent an e-mail with our arrival time.

Liked: The hostel is located in the Gruz area of Dubrovnik and was very easy to find. Villa Amfora has very good access to the bus terminal and the ferry port. It is also easy to get a bus into the old town. We really liked this hostel, the staff were very friendly and the rooms were very clean.

Liked: Great little spot just off the water above a cafe, staff didnt speak much english but were very helpful when we arrived at 7am instead of 10am. Great facilities and overall a great place to stay.

Liked: It was a kind place to sleep, really close to the bus station that took you to the center of the town. The thing was that there was a really cheap fast food Kebab on the nearby. Our every day food was bought there and it was really cheap, at the end we really loved to be on the outskirts of the city.
