Customer reviewThe property was clean and sufficient for a two night stay - easy to get the bus into Dubrovnik for visiting the old city. However the location was very urban and we had trouble parking our car during our stay as the street outside is a metered area and very busy. However if you are travelling without a car the location is adequate for visiting old Dubrovnik and catching the local bus into town is only a 10 minute journey. |

Customer review10min (by bus) from the old town, very clean, the owners are very nice. the downs are, our room was near a bar and there was some noise... but nothing serous. When we arrived (around 23:00) the restaurant underneath was closed and I had to call the owner. that wasn't very good since I'd sent an e-mail with our arrival time. |

Customer reviewThe hostel is located in the Gruz area of Dubrovnik and was very easy to find. Villa Amfora has very good access to the bus terminal and the ferry port. It is also easy to get a bus into the old town. We really liked this hostel, the staff were very friendly and the rooms were very clean. |

Carlos Ciller RuizIt was a kind place to sleep, really close to the bus station that took you to the center of the town. The thing was that there was a really cheap fast food Kebab on the nearby. Our every day food was bought there and it was really cheap, at the end we really loved to be on the outskirts of the city. |

gearoid o gliasainI liked this hostel for quite a few reasons.(a)The price for a single room was very attractive(b) I found it friendly when I arrived, I was shown my room and was met with trust and good vibes.(c) The room was very good, clean and with a great view, (as they all were), air conditioning working very well. Maria the cleaner made me a coffee on the verandah near my room and tea and coffee were available 24hrs of day or night free of charge(d). On my last nights stay , my room had to be changed for a single bed room. Without my asking, the proprieter offered a substantial cash refund for any inconvenience caused ,which was minimal. The view out of the balcony is beautiful and all in all out of five stars I would rate it a maximum 5 out of five. Regards----Gerard Gleeson |

Stephen HancockThis was a good clean apartment to stay in, staff were very freindly, it is above a restaurant which also sells good food at good prices, which is good because eating out in Dubrovnik can start getting expensive. little far from the beach or the old town as it is situated in the area of gruz, but at only 8 kuna a bus trip about £1 to anywere in Dubrovnik and being located on the main marina there are lots of buses so getting around without your own transport is very easy. Hard to find a hostel cheaper with air con which is very useful on hot summer nights. I would definatly recomend this hostel, very good value for money. |

Pirjo KoskinenGood connections with bus to everywhere. 3 km from the Old City - you can even walk there every day, like I did. Good market place and super market very near. Small kitchen on the same floor where to make breakfast and also own refrigerator in the room. A little bit noisy street, but I was so tired after long walks every day that it didn't disturb. Air-condition in the room. |

Erik FerdinandsIt is close to the bus station and a big grocery store which was handy and having a bar on the ground floor didn't hurt either. It's kind of far from the old town and the beaches but both are easy to get to with the city buses. |
