Villa Amfora Dubrovnik

Villa Amfora is a family owned bed and breakfast located in Dubrovnik's part of town called Gruz and only 50m from the sea. It is distinct for the port, marina and main market.

The Old town is close and can be reached under 10 minutes. On the ground floor we have a cafe and restaurant which offers Mediterranean cuisine. The next two floors are reserved for our rooms, all together 8 of them which can accommodate 16 persons all together. We offer a lovingly prepared hearty breakfast on the 2nd where also the community room is which is equipped with TV/SAT and free internet (wireless). Every room has a separate bathroom, and individually controlled air-conditioning.

Accommodation Information

Every room in Villa Amfora has its own bathroom equipped with a shower and individual hot water boiler; also a hairdryer. We have one triple-bed, one one-bed, six double-bed rooms situated on two floors. Most of the rooms have sea view overlooking a pine tree park and the bay of Gruž where yachts are docking. Each room has a separately controlled air-conditioning and a refrigerator. Linen and towels are exchange as needed or every two days. In the community room we have a TV/SAT and free internet (+ wireless). Breakfast is served form 8 - 10 AM.

Location Information

The bed and breakfast is situated in Gruž the part of town where the main port is. Across the villa mega yachts dock. Besides the nearby port (100m) where you can get connections by ferries to the nearby island you have everything you need within 50m such as a bank, tourist office, rent-a-car, department store, police, market, pharmacy and the bus station for local transportation. To reach the Old Town you can practically take any bus that comes by in intervals of about 7 min. The 5th bus station is the Pile Gate at the Old town and you get there in about 7 min. It’s a two km walk if you choose to stroll. Every beach in the city is reachable within 15 min with the buses.
