Liked: Local home feel, fully equipped apartment

Disliked: Should mention Bus Number 8 in locations and directions. This bus can take you from main bus station directly to the apartment, without the need to walk uphill for 25 minutes.

Liked: Anica was helpful and considerate, offering her knowledge of the area and her support with all aspects of my stay. The accommodation has the bonus of a lovely garden to spend time in away from the buzz of a very busy and vibrant city, i thoroughly recommend it as value for money.

Disliked: there was nothing to make me dislike the property at all

Liked: It was homey! It had a lovely garden to relax in and we could wash out clothes at no extra charge and she was really kind and gave us laundry powder! The owner really made every attempt to Make us feel at home which was greatly appreciated! She even drove us to the bus depot! She is a wonderful host! Would recommend!

Disliked: It's a fair walk from the bus station with heavy backpacks, but everywhere is steep in the area, with lots if stairs, so really there is nothing to Complain about!

Liked: The apartment was in a gr3at location - midway between the bus-station and the old town, with green-grocer's, bakery and pizzeria just down the road. 20 minutes' walk to the old-town but only 5 on the bus. The apartment had everything we needed, and air-conditioning was great. there was outside space, with chairs and table too, and the landlady was most helpful and even did a load of washing for us.

Liked: Anica and her family are really lovely and helpful people. The accomodation is great value for money, very clean and quiet. Its a good 15-20 min walk from old town/the main beach and bus ride home at night (so need to consider that if going out at night) - but this is a fair trade off for the money saved on the room. Really sweet people at a very humble place!

Disliked: The distance maybe? But its really not far at all

Liked: The apartment is easy to find. It might not be that close to the center but it is alright for a nice walk. For those who don't want to walk 20 minutes to old town can take the bus. There is a great supermarket nearby. The garden isn't that big but it is nice and every room has its own table ouside. The rooms are all clean and provide you with all you need. We didn't have any problems using the Internet during our stay. Anica is a very friendly host and even offered us a ride to the bus terminal free of charge. PS.: be prepared to encounter a lot of stairs, since Dubrovnik is after all the city of stairs.

Disliked: The next big not overcrowded beach is a bit far away so that you have to go by bus.

Liked: This is the perfect accommodation in the perfect location in Dubrovnik. Anica is such a lovely host and so very helpful. On arrival she gave us some orange juice and even carried our bags into the room as it was so hot outside. On our last day she even offered to drive us to the bus station (free of charge). The room itself is really airy and comfortable. We had use of a good kitchen and washing machine, again at no extra charge. The garden was stunning and is perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine at the end of the day.

Liked: Private and Quiet. Nice Garden with seating outside for each room. Looks over the city from a far. Homely set up with coffee and biscuits on arrival. We turned up earlier than expected at 6am and were greeted happily. Anica is a amicable and relaxed hostess. Good kitchen and bathroom with a washing machine and huge clothes line. Air Con also.

Disliked: Honestly it's pretty far away from the Old Town with lots of stairs.

Liked: great location a ten minute walk from old town with a bus stop right outside and a bakery and... a supermarket. Nice garden to sit out and have a drink great for couples. Free washing machine. A Verry enjoyable stay.

Disliked: nothing. Ideal for couples not great for people looking to meet new people.

Liked: The owner Anica was very friendly, even giving us a lift to town to catch bus to airport. Accommodation included a fully equipped kitchen, and room was comfortable

Liked: Big, nice room, with bathroom and kitchen facilities. There is a green yard/garden just in front of the room where you can hang out clothes or relax...

Disliked: it's quite a walk from the old town.. around 20 - 30 min. But there are buses...

Liked: Atmosphere was superb - a lovely green garden with seats and tables, and of course a view out to Dubrovnik.Anica was even better, spoke English well and was amazingly helpful - never hesitating to get you what you needed.Location honestly wasn't too bad - the whole of Dubrovnik is on a hill so you kinda have to expect a few hills and steps with any location, but there was a huge supermarket literally 5 minutes walk away, and Old Town was probably 20 minutes walk -- but that's 20 minutes looking at a beautiful view across the Adriatic and Dubrovnik.

Disliked: The internet was unfortunately completely reliant on Anica's son's computer being on -- and I assume this computer was in his room because while he was asleep the internet was disabled. Anica was quick to wake him up if you mentioned anything to do with it, but that didn't help all that much because the reception was terrible (couldn't connect at all on my laptop, and my iPhone could get 1 bar which dropped frequently). Finding the place was a little difficult coming from the port/bus terminal (which doesn't say "bus terminal" anywhere), because there are (apparently) no street signs. You also can't get a map at the bus terminal - but don't do what I did and buy one, just walk down the main road towards Old Town and you'll come across a tourist information center that will provide you with a (even better) map for free, and instructions on how to get to Anica Rooms.

Liked: A super friendly lady runs this guest house, she was there to meet us on the steps of the property even though we were two hours late! We were made to feel welcome instantly which put us in high spirits for the rest of our trip exploring ths beautiful city, I would recommend Anica rooms to anyone.

Disliked: Nothing, the only thing I would say is bring mosquito repelent :)

Liked: Very friendly, met us from airport, and took us to bus station when we left. Overall, really enjoyed it

Disliked: It is up quite a few steps and would not be good for someone who struggled with walking. About twenty mins on bus from centre, and there was no timetable which was a bit annoyiung

Liked: Anica was very friendly and helpful - she took us to the bus station on our last day to save us getting the bus with heavy bags. The room, kitchen and bathroom were also very clean.

Liked: Anica was helpful and took us back to the bus station free of charge. Rooms were airy with aircon and not too far up the steps. Quiet with a lovely view and I would definitely stay there again!

Disliked: Anica was not there when we arrived and we didn't know to go up to the rest of the house where her son was expecting us. She had however just left the door open so we could get in no problem.

Liked: Best place we stayed in. Lovely garden, great location between the old town and the ferry/bus terminals for seeing the islands. Massive supermarket 2 mins away and a great little kitchen to cook. Eat at tables in garden. Room was v clean and cool at night. Washing machine a bonus. And Anica was great! Would strongly recommend to anyone coming to Dubrovnik.

Liked: Anica was a lovely host. Though we didn't have a whole lot of contact with her during our stay, she was kind enough to let us use the printer in her family home to print off our ferry tickets. She also gave us a free ride to the ferry port after we checked out! The room we stayed in was quite spacious, large enough for the two fo us travelling together, with a wardrobe, TV, free wifi, desk and chair. Free use of washing machine and washing powder. Clothes line to hang up your washing to dry in the blistering hot Dubrovnik summer days!It is quite a walk from the main bus station, 30 mins or more. We made the mistake of walking from the bus station with our backpacks in the heat of the day. Better bet is to catch the local bus that runs on the major road nearby. There are some steps, maybe three dozen, to get to the property (Anica gave us a glass of juice on arrival, which after all that walking and those stairs, was very welcome indeed!). Huge supermarket (actually a "hipermarket") about 5 mins walk downhill. A few smaller, mini-markets and three bakeries nearby. The old town/main part of the city is an easy 30 min walk (mostly flat or downhill/down stairs), or you can catch a local bus.

Liked: Lovely garden and terrace owned by a very helpful and friendly host.

Disliked: It was a hard walk up from the bus station when you've got heavy bags and its hot (but you can ask for a lift from the hosts)!

Liked: I loved my stay here, Anica was a perfect host, its set in lovely gardens. Nice sunsets, easy enough to get to old town, and cheaper for shopping than old town! The apartment was spotless, and got cleaned by Anica once a week so it was spotless again. In general excellent value for money and all round great place to stay!

Disliked: The only thing I found tiresome at points, was all the steps if you are walking from the old town, but there are steps everywhere in Dubrovnik, so wherever you stay you will have to climb them!
