Liked: We had a really fun time staying in this lovely family-run accommodation. Nicky went out of his way to help and be friendly. The rooms were spacious and the air conditioning was a blessing when we got in from a long day sightseeing!

Liked: Nicky Guesthouse is one of the best hostels we stayed in for our eastern europe tour. Nikola and his family was very hospitable and we really enjoyed our stay here. When we reached Dubrovnik, Nikola picked us up from the bus terminal, and treated us to his home-made Rakija (Croatian whiskey). The place itself is pretty new and clean, and it was a very pleasant stay. The view in the evening is also really good, with a nice sunset view.The best thing about Nicky Guesthouse is that the entire family is very friendly and helpful. When we had problems with our flight (cause skyeurope went bankrupt), Nikola loaned us his laptop to search for alternative arrangements. We ended up having to leave Dubrovnik a day earlier, and they actually waived the extra night rental for us. Besides, they consistently assured our stay with them was good and made sure all our requests are fulfilled. This really made us feel at home. Overall, it is really a wonderful hostel and we would definitely recommend others to stay here.

Liked: the most impressive thing about the property was the ownder Nicky. he was fantastic. picked us up from the bus station and even picked us up from the middle of no where when we were lost. he offered us tea and coffee in the morning and introduced us to other guests. he was just fantastic. the house wasnt in the best location, but a 10 min bus journey took you straight to the old town and u could walk to the new town. had fantastic views.

Liked: A clean and homely hostel with the most fantastic family as hosts! Nothing was ever too much trouble and we were taken on an awe inspiring and moving trip to the fort where Dad had fought in the war - more insight than could ever be gained at a normal museum. Drinks a plenty, sightseeing advice and offers of transport were great - Nicky was also always at the end of the phone when needed! A little way from the new/old towns but easy to walk down and an hourly running bus back - the view of the harbour from the room made it worth it though! Thanks Nicky!

Liked: Nicky was a very friendly host. We arrived late but he was waiting to greet us with rakia and watermelon. The hostel was clean, fun and had incredible views over the bay. I would definitely recommend it to anyone that intends to stay in Dubrovnik. He even took us to the bus station free of charge at the end of our time with him!

Liked: Really really kind staff, the most helpful I've seen in a lot of time! The guy wnet to search us to the ferry station and even gave us a lift back, apart from having lots of fun with other people. Great!

Liked: The family running this hostel were very helpful and kind. They organized a great breakfast for us at short notice (there were 10 of us in our party). It is a good place to stay although not sure how far from the centre of Old Town it is as we were only staying one night before moving up the coast.

Liked: THE BEEEEST PLACE IN CROATIA!!!!This was our favourite place we stayed at in Croatia. The hosts are great. Thank you to Nikola and to his Mother who made us feel welcomed from the very first minute! They give you so many free things on the house and make your trip memorable!

Liked: We loved our stay at Nicky's Guesthouse and would highly recommend it to everyone. The family were amazing and so helpful and friendly. Although the guesthouse is a little distance from Old Town the views were beautiful, a pleasure to wake up to with a nice morning coffee. Will definitely be returning for drinks with the family again, they helped make our stay in Dubrovnik a highlight of our Europe travels! Thanks guys!!

Liked: This is one of the best places I have stayed on my travels. Nikola and his mum are the best hosts you could ask for, the view is amazing and the rooms are clean and really big. It's a bit of a walk to the port but there's a bus stop right out the front so it was never a problem. We got cake on arrival, tea and biscuits every morning and they even provided wood and got a bbq going for us one night. I'd definately stay here again.

Liked: Nicky and family made our stay in Dubrovnik a pleasure. They made sure that we everything we needed and were always on hand to help when required. The guesthouse has wonderful views across the harbour and was clean and had good facilities. Definitely recommended.

Liked: Awesome value for money! the owner Nicky and his family are so nice and went out of there way to help us whenever they could. We stayed for 6 nights and had an amazing time. There were always family members around so it felt very safe and it was only a 5 minute walk downhill to the new town. Thank you so much for making our stay so enjoyable!!! :)

Liked: Our stay at nicky guesthouse was seriously like home from home. It is a family run hostel and they will treat you like royalty. the hostel was up a massive hill but the nicolas and his family will always offer lifts to and from the bus station and will introduce you to new restaurants around the area, and even get his family to pick you up! there is an excellent washing service that gets done for you for a small price and folded and left ready for you the next day. we bought some food to put on the bbq and the family were fighting to cook it for us and add spices and marinade us. the family's generosity is outstanding and i would seriously recommend this guest house.

Liked: The friendliness and warmth of the family who run this place make it feel like you are staying at home minus the nagging.The accommodation is great with balcony, patio area and BBQ plus clean bathrooms and bedroom. Although take it easy on the welcom grappa!A little out of town but easy to access and the view over the harbour is well worth it. THanks Nicholai and family you were great.
