Liked: The host couldn't be more helpful and friendly, I feel so lucky that I've chosen this property. The room was great for the price, but Nikola and his family really exceeded our expectations.

Liked: It was such a nice stay! Nicky took us up to the fortress and gave us a private tour, for a little extra his dad cooked us the most amazing meal of my trip (1.5 months in greece and croatia), the room was spacious with a balcony. I would definitely recommend this guesthouse to anyone. Nicky and his family are so nice and go out of their way to make sure you have a good time! Welcome drinks on arrival were awesome too :D

Liked: Nicky and his family are just so welcoming, amazing cups of coffee in the morning, and all the help you can ask for (they even set up the BBQ properly just for the two of us.) The balcony has the best view, the kitchen is well equipped, the bathroom is big and spotless, and despite being abit away from the old town, it is a lovely (mainly downhill) 30 minute walk there and the bus drops you back right outside the house. The boat trip supplied through them was also good, but maybe better on the smaller boat.

Liked: Nicky is awesome..he meet us at the ferry terminal without us asking and then took us on a tour of town even though he was late for work. Great view from house good facilities it was nice...great value!

Liked: Nicky was amazing, so helpful, picked us up from the bus station, free drinks on arrival, guesthouse located right by bus station. Highly recommend for anyone doing Sail Croatia and need a nights accommodation before hand.

Disliked: If you didnt take the bus the hill was a bit steep, but good excuse to put in some exercise.

Liked: Nicky is the coolest guy.... He called us at the day of our arrival and picked us up in the train station for free... He will tell you everything about the city and where to go and give you nice Juice and alcohol when you arrive... Definetly best for couples, not the place to go if youre looking for a party, but good place to relax... The view from the balcony is all right...

Disliked: Its on top of a very steep hill....

Liked: Perfect hostel scenario for me. Series of aparments with communal drinking area so you could have your own rooms and kitchen and still meet people.

Disliked: A bit far from the action but in a cheaper area of town

Liked: This is a great hostel run by an really sound guy who bends over backwards to help you out. He'll give you tips on local places to go and which to avoid, is always cheerful and nurses you through hangovers with coffee, tea and biscuits in the morning.It is a bit of a walk up the top of the hill to get to the questhouse but the view from the balconies is amazing and completely worth it. There's a reglar bus that takes you up the top of the hill too so if you have heavy bags or whatever that's always an option.

Liked: Nicky was an amazing host. he and his family offered superb hospitality. nothing was ever too difficult, and Nicky always went out of his way to help us, explain the town of Dubrovnik, and he even gave us a private tour of Dubrovnik's fortress. Rooms were lovely and clean, and there's a great courtyard area for meeting other people and hanging out with Nicky.Fantastic atmosphere, Nicky and his guesthouse made our stay in Dubrovnik unreal. One we'll always remember!

Liked: Nicky was so helpful! All of his family were very friendly and we met some great people at the house. It is a bit of a walk from the old town but you get the best of both worlds with the new town only a 10 min walk away and the bus to the old town is literally across the road. Would definitely stay here again!

Liked: Nicky was a great host and fun to be around, he was very helpful and a particularly good guide when looking around the Dubrovnik fortress. I liked that the guesthouse is family run and you are really made to feel at home (the amazing complementary cups of coffee help) during your stay.All in all no problems at all and had a really good time.

Liked: We had a fantastic stay at Nikki's. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Clean and comfortable, beautiful views and a great common area. Very good value for money. Highly reccomended. Although these apartments are not very close to the old town, the bus stop directy opposite the property makes it easily accessible.

Liked: Nicky's was the BEST! Nikki (spelt it correctly :P) himself was so much fun and the whole family were lovely. He was really friendly and extremely helpful, finding us a private mini bus to Split at midnight the night before we were set to leave. I would recommend this place a million times over, you will not regret it.

Liked: From the beginning we felt like part of the family here. Nikki was a great host and will happily share information on anything ranging from the history of the town to what to see and where to eat. The view of the port was beautiful from the room that we rented and the facilities were clean and accomodating. Although the old town is a bit of a walk away we enjoyed being out of the busy tourist areas and the bus stop is litterally right above his house so you have many options as to how you want to travel. Several days we walked down during the day and road the bus back up at night for a mere 8 kunas or 1 GBP. The local grocery is only a 5 min walk away from the house and the prices are a bit cheaper than the one directly outside the old town. The area is safe and kid friendly but also perfect for backpackers and people of all ages. Make sure to eat at the family restaurant Marco Polo, we ate at several restaurants in the old town and this was miles above the rest, both the service and the food. All in all it was a great experience and we can't say enough good things about the warmth of Nikki and his family. We booked this place because of the reviews and Nikki certainly exceeded our expectations. We will be back!
