Liked: The staff were very helpful, they gave us a drink on arrival as well as a map marking out when things wer and how to get around. Lovely apartment and really good value for money.

Liked: The owners and their son were all very nice. They offered drinks and maps upon arrival and explained all the differents things to do in Dubrovnik. The rooms are big and have a great view and a little balcony. The owners rent bikes which make it easier to go about.

Disliked: The location is not great. You have to take a long bus ride or get a taxi to get to the old town. We weren't there for very long so that was a problem to us, but otherwise, great place, especially for a couple.

Liked: Really nice owners, great apartment with everything that you could need. Quiet and peaceful... but a short bus ride into the old town. Good value for money. I would definitely recommend this place and will definitely go back if I am there again!

Liked: Friendly owners. Complimentary drinks, nibbles and subsequent coffee etc. Home made brandy and fruit on patio overlooking harbor. Quiet Spacious room.Plenty of storage. En suite bathroom TV, FridgeWell worth the little extra cost.Highly recommended

Disliked: If there is a down side it is half hour walk to old town but there is a regular (crowded) bus

Liked: Not much.

Disliked: The hosts hardly can speak English, we had a serious mosquito or another bug problem, the owner helped us unwillingly by plugging a anti-mosquito device in the room. The bathroom is not clean. There is a finger of dust in the cap of the washing machine. The name Jozefina is used only to create a nursuring and clean atmosphere because Jozefina herself did not do anything apart from saying good morning in the morning and yelling at her grandchildren and waking us up in the afternoon. After all it is a holiday and one does not have to wake up early. Yes, the price is not that much 15 EU per night for double room but we expected something better. Afterall 15 EU per night is not that cheap when the prices in Croatia are considered.

Liked: This is such a wonderful place to stay: it's a lovely home where 3 generations of an extended family live together, but you have your privacy too. We had an apartment which was huge, with proper kitchen (a godsend after a whole week of eating out), separate large bedroom and bathroom, and a shaded terrace. We didn't use the aircon but it worked. We were greeted with fruit and coffee, given a bottle of homemade wine as it was my boyfriend's birthday, and were encouraged to pick our own grapes from the vines! There is also a fully equipped outdoor kitchen for guests, so it would be a nice place to meet other travellers. The family are so warm and friendly - great hosts!The location is good: quiet and pleasant residential area 2 mins from a small supermarket, 10 mins to a strip of cafes and restaurants, and 10 mins walk uphill to the bus, which is frequent, cheap (8kn) and takes about 10/15 minutes to the old town. There is a gorgeous pebble beach 10 mins walk away with a bench to watch the sunset over the islands.

Liked: The couple who run this property made me feel really welcome when I arrived and told me a little about the area and where to catch the bus in to the Old Town.Having a little balcony made it really nice and cool at night and the view was fantastic.

Disliked: My only complaint was that the washing machine drained in to the bath, so if you want a shower, the evening is the best time.

Liked: It is a little out of the old town but I really liked that. The old town gets crazy busy in the high season, so it was so nice to stay somewhere where you could walk around without loads of people and swim at the great beaches near by.

Disliked: Nothing. I really enjoyed my stay there.

Liked: Very good Welcome from the famillyGood Location in Lambarda with a good room and a private Balcony but the bathroom is not really clear, but it still ok for the price

Liked: Very friendly and accommodating, nice and quiet, good little kitchen etc so we could be self sufficient. Only 5-10 min walk from bus stop for bus number 6 which goes to old town every 10 min.

Liked: The hosts were very helpful and the room was nice. We found it tricky to find intially, but there is a good bus connection to the Old Town. The kitchen area and home-made schnapps were particularly welcome.

Liked: The property was well equiped from the kitchen to bedrooms, which would be better stated on the website or page,the rooms are a good size. The patio areas are a good size and very private. The reseption you get when you arrive is the best we have received and it is nice to meet the family.

Disliked: There was nothing to dislike about the property. The only thing that some of the group did complain about was, there was a hill that you had to walk up every time you wanted to catch a bus or to go for a walk, it did get easier as the week went on.

Liked: Not expensive, very relaxed, very close to the bay (where you can go swim). Clean, but not easy to get there

Disliked: The indications, it is on a ver small street and it took us a very long time to get there.

Liked: It was a safe and clean place to stay, not to mention surrounded by beautiful houses. It was 2 min away, walking, from a grocery store and about a 15 min walk from town.

Liked: The family running this place is extremely friendly, and their hospitality is unheard of!! We were greeted by Jozefina and her husband Ivo, and their son Silvio with a drink at the porch. They were furthermore very helpful guiding us about how to visit Dubrovnik.It one of the best places I have ever stayed!

Disliked: It is a bit far from the centre.

Liked: Highly, highly recommend. Jozefina and her family really make you feel at home, but at the same time do not ever feel like you are not able to do as you please. The rooms are simple and clean, some with great balconies. A communal "summer kitchen" is a great place to hang out with other guests in the warm evenings. If you are lucky you will get to try some of the local moonshine, and there is no doubt Joyefina will let you sample her wonderful home cooking.
