Liked: This property is something between sobe and a hostel, the advantage of a hostel being that you meet other people (good for solo travellers). You are very close to one of the better beaches near dubrovnik (lapad) and some restaurants and a boardwalk-type environment of that beach, but to see the old town you must either walk 20-30 min or take a bus (10 min or so). The Begovic family is very nice (imagine staying with your grandma). Ms. Badema did my laundry for me and folded it (very low cost), and her grandchildren are adorable. There is a very nice terrace. The kitchen leaves a little something to be desired, but the free internet (two computers) is a nice touch.

Liked: Lovely family run guesthouse. We were picked up from the port and given loads of information on Lapad, the area that it is in. Much nicer being out there than in Old town, as it is close to beaches, best restaurants and much quieter. Perhaps just a little too expensive, but I think when you stay in Dubrovnik, you have to expect to pay a bit more.

Liked: It was very clean and felt really safe. It was just a really short stroll from the beach with lots of resturants around it although there were a few stairs to contend with but I think all hostels in the area have this!

Liked: Stunning views of Lapad, easy access for transport into the Old Town by bus (though could be walked) and easy to walk to the beaches and restaurants of Lapad. The owner picked us up from the bus stop, gave us good directions on how to get into town and after that was very discreet. Would recommend to anyone who wants to stay out of the noise and business of the Old Town, but still wanting to be able to access everything

Liked: The family running this boarding house were very accomodating, warm and friendly. they have great advice for a good stay! free internet was great, handy little kitchen, and in a great spot you can walk to beach and popular restaurant and souvenier area, easy 5 minute bus ride to old town. staying in this part of dubrovnik definitely seemed the way to go rather than staying close to expensive old town.

Liked: The cleanliness and the panorama on the city. We did not like the difficult access. OK for young backpackers, but not so recommendable for seniors! Stairs and stairs !!!

Liked: The owners of the house were really friendly, they make sure to explain where to go in town and what to see. It was a very clean hostel and very comfortable beds. Easy to get to downtown from there and the hostel is located close to lots of restaurants. Would definitely recommend this hostel to friends!

Liked: very clean and comfortable - good internet facilities, a kitchen space which is handy if you're on a budget and cant afford eating out all the time, own bathroom = +++, nice terrace area to relax on and from where you can see the beautiful Lapad beach, had no problems whatsoever and would highly recommend!

Liked: The owners were very accommodating and made it really easy to approach them; we arrived at 3.30 in the morning after a long journey, they had no problems in coming to collect us and take us to our beds.When we go back (which we will will as the place is beautiful!) we will be staying with them again!

Liked: Had free Internet which was good. Family owned hostel. Hostel is kinda isolated. It was a bit intrusive that if I had any questions or problems, I had to knock on the door of the family home. Location is 10 mins away by bus from old town. Pretty easy to get around.

Liked: This place was GREAT. Great location in Lapad, short bus trip from old town but Lapad itself is really nice, some lovely beaches, port area and great restaurants/shopping all within easy walking distance. We had an apartment with kitchen and lounge, and a view over the port to die for. Not sure if all apartments have this, but amazing value. Not a hostel, but unbeatable for a great couples/group place to stay in Dubrovnik. Recommend unreservedly.

Liked: This is excellent accommodation. Had spacious twin room for one person. Very clean and modern and with air conditioning. Only 10 mins walk to nearest bus to Old City. Note that there are quite a few steps to climb, or steep hill to climb to get to this property. But this is not a problem. Overall - excellent accommodation with very friendly and helpful owners.

Liked: Great place to stay, the family who own this guest house really made our short stay with them fantastic. Its a good place to meet other travellers, if thats what you want, good accommodation. If your looking for a place that is safe and clean and freindly go here. Have a good one!!

Liked: View overlooking Adriatic Sea - stunning. Ask for one of these apartments apart from the main complex. Free internet also good. Free bus station pick up, a really nice change.
