Liked: our flight was diverted and we only got in at 3am... the guy came and let us in at that time and he didnt have too. they we brilliant

Liked: Good sides: great location close to the old town and friendly host. Bad sides: the apartment (w/shower and kitchen) was damp and the aircondition difficult to regulate. Very thin blankets and the towels were small and worn, neither were replaced during our stay for one week. Very limited cutlery. In sum, I think you get what you pay for, especially considering the location - but the standard was a bit too low for me to recommend it.

Liked: It's all about the location, being so close to the Old Town. Our room was quiet, nice and clean. Good value for money. Sweet as if you're more interested in seeing Dubrovnik and don't won't to spend much time in your room.

Liked: Great location just outside Pile Gate and the old town, and next to a mini-market. Aircon is a big plus, very clean and host was friendly. Little back yard to enjoy a beer in too. And free left luggage facility. Would recommend.

Liked: The absolute best thing about this hostel is the air conditioning. On that alone I would recommend it over a similar hostel in Dubrovnik without air con. Otherwise, the owner is very friendly, everything is clean, and the location is excellent. Best for groups rather than single travellers.

Liked: Internet access was very useful. Abundance of hot water and powerful shower particularly welcome. Room was spacious and storage ample. Would recommend as a room, but not as an apartment.

Liked: Very good location, literally 5min walk to old city. The only thing I didnt like was the fridge got totally emptied while we were there and no one even asked if our stuff was in it.

Liked: Really friendly owners - gave us a map, told us where the beach was on our arrival, which we thought was nice. The owner later gave us some fresh figs and nectarines from his own garden as he knew we were heading on to Split and thought we needed sustenance for the journey!

Liked: Lovely room and great location, very close to old town and easy access from ferry/bus station (bus stop across the road). Free internet and air con brilliant. On the downside shared kitchen absolutely tiny and very ill equiped. one pan, few plates and thats it. Other than that great place to stay.

Liked: A great hostel and perfect location for seeing the Old Town. The room was really clean and A/C was a bonus. The owner is the best host, so kind and really helpful. I would highly recommend this hostel.

Liked: its so many years since i stayed in a hostal, it felt like a dump, but the younger peoplw were ok with it, the old man was pleasant enough, internet connection is hit and miss and in this day and age needs to be compulsory

Liked: Location very cool...If you get down one bus station before Pile (ask driver) it's right in front of number 24...nothing is written there,but don't be afraid and just ring the bell!!It's not really an hostel,but rooms that the owner rents, he's an old man that speaks little english, when I showed him the printout of hostelbookers he said no problem and accepted the price written there...The rooms have a double bed and one single and even if you are alone you get the whole room for you and keys for front door.Room is ok, bathroom is new and clean, only thing there is not much space in the room for your stuff, so maybe it's a little small for 3 persons but good enough for 2...There is Wifi, but you should ask the owner's son of you meet him....Anyway good deal and best location!!!
