Liked: Loved the staff, very friendly and warm atmosphere, free breakfast, happy hour was a great way to meet other travellers and chillax. Loved the free grappa too! and the fact it was within the Old City walls. Oh and the daily... hahahaha....... :| ...competitions with Maria

Disliked: I didn't stay long enough :(

Liked: Great staff, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Location was great. Staff did lots of extra bits and pieces that helped the atmosphere

Liked: I did not stay at the actual hostel but in at a room in a private house nearby arranged by the hostel. The room was comfortable and the landlady very friendly and helpful. Bathroom faciilities were clean and the location was good. As I didn't stay at the hostel some of my answers above i have submitted as 'average' as I was unable to leave them blank

Liked: I really enjoyed the staff they were very friendly, helpful, and fun! The rooms were perfect for a traveler since you hardly spend any time in there anyways no need for glamor. Breakfast was served in the morning which I was so thankful for. It was simple, easy, and perfect start to the day! I would recommend this hostel to anyone and everyone. It was an excellent atmosphere and as a solo traveler I felt safe and secure at all times!

Disliked: The only thing I can possibly think of that I disliked was all the stairs to get to the hostel and I do not think they have much of a choice in that situation. Carrying my suitcase up and down was a real chore. But it was worth it in the end!

Liked: Tina and anja were very helpful and sweet!! Hostel was in a great location in old town! Rooms were clean and the lockers in the room were big and spacious- able to fit all of my luggage in them!! Hostel also great place to meet new people!! Would definately recommend this place!!!

Liked: Honestly, this is such a great hostel.wonderful fun vibe, really sociallable and a great place to meet like minded backpackers especially if travelling alone.top marks!!!. nice cozy common area and homely touches with fresh fruit and biscuits. also really friendly staff!!!

Liked: It's the place I normally go when in Dubrovnik

Disliked: The double/triple rooms have been changed into dorms... and i think now is too crowed.

Liked: The staff here are lovely and make the reception area a great place to hang out and get to know people in the evening. Since it's a pretty small hostel there's no organised nights out but the staff know the town really well and recommended us some good places to go for a drink. The hostel's less than 5 mins from the old town main street but feels far away from the hustle and bustle of it all, and it's easy enough to find (just make sure you print the directions!).

Liked: Having breakfast included in the price was a big positive.

Disliked: The electric fusebox switch was prone to trip out on the water heater for shower unit on first floor. The distance from the Pile Gate is a fair old slog if you lugging heavy packs & luggage.

Liked: We stayed at a neighbour's place and it was a bit small, but clean. The location is excellent.

Disliked: The bathroom was small and the shower was very uncomfortable to use since the roof was at a slant and one had to shower sitting in the tub. Woulld never want to use a shower like that again.

Liked: We didn't stay at the hostel, they accommodate us in a private house (they send us an email about this 5 days after we booked), but in the old town as well. Also the free breakfast!

Disliked: Too much stairs to get there...

Liked: the place was nice and all the facilities were very clean.

Disliked: in our room there wasn´t air conditioned and at night the room was too hot, the hostel was too far from the city center and the bus was always full.

Liked: Staff was helpful and it was neat staying in the old city of Dubrovnik. It's a fun setting, but be weary of the steps throughout the old city.

Disliked: It was a bit pricey, but then again it was August when I stayed so it was to be expected.
